First this is the Inglewood PD not LAPD. And the LA county Sheriffs who were on the scene. And no they don't have video cameras in their cars.

Respect has to be earned, and if I were a citizen of LA, I certainly don't think I'd have too much respect for the police department out there, not after the past 10 years.

I see---being sworn to uphold the law and being duly appointed guardians of the peace isn't enough to earn "respect," hunh? Well, maybe some good old physical force will help.

I don't mind cops busting punks of any color. If they don't bust 'em, they'll come and bust you. It's just that simple.

But maybe I'm wrong. Maybe there're a lot of people out there who don't remember or haven't experienced what it's like to live with out-of-control violent crime, or having a local police force that has been intimidated into doing nothing about it. My sincere wish for them is that they get to experience some real lack of respect from a vicious street punk, alone, defenseless, and without a cop in sight. That'll dry up their bleeding hearts real quick.

The report says the kid was tensed up and not cooperating. When the cops tell you to get in the car, you get in the car. They could have maced, bear him with sticks, whatever. I suspect this cop will get off - he probably should - but the city will burn. Again.

Most, but not all big city LEOs have video in their cars these days, however, most are used for DUI cars. Inglewood and LASD use video, but, no there was no law enforcement video of this specific incident.

The "little punk" is developmentally delayed. He has emotional and intellectual age of a child much younger than his chronological years. He's not a man. He probably didn't even know what was going on.

Herewith instructions to those arrested by police. First, do as you are told. Second. Adopt this attitude. It is not a disgrace or an affront to ones manhood, to have to submit to an armed officer of the law. He has the high ground, he has a side arm. Three. Take note of how he(or she conducts) themeselves. Four. When one walks away- if one is either innocent- or has been a jackass, complain and complain again and use the proper procedures. This is if the officer has acted out of line.

Do not be an idiot. I as a humble former security guard have no love for police- I KNOW their outlook. Just nice to think they would jump in and protect me from punks, even if they are somewhat imperious. Nice to have your rebuttal, I respect your views. Just a bit of a disagreement.

Did you hear this from his attorney? What is your source for this?

I understand that he got out of the vehicle and walked into the greedy mart to purchase something. And on his way out of the store is when the incident occurred. Being so developmentally delayed, I wonder how he could have performed this task all by himself?

I think a good trial lawyer is needed to take them to the cleaners. The taxpayers in this area should learn a lesson and pay the price for this cop's dirty deeds.

If a cop beat the crap out of me, I would be lucky to get my hospital bills paid, let alone get a million dollars.(I'm a white male)
