A Bush Hater's Poll
Jim Robinson
Posted on 07/10/2002 11:27:06 PM PDT by Jim Robinson
This is an unofficial quick and dirty presidential poll. Apparently, there is a good sized contingent on Free Republic that believes that President Bush is:
- Not conservative enough
- Not pro-life
- Is a gun-grabber
- Is a federal power-grabber
- Will appoint liberal judges
- Is a globalist
- Is in it just for oil
- Is too soft on immigration
- Is too soft (or too hard) on Israel
- Is a crook
- All of the above
- None of the above
- Other (you name it)
Please list the numbers that best match the reasons you don't like Bush (or state other reasons if not on the list) and state whether you believe that President Bush should be defeated even if it means installing a Democrat in the Whitehouse.
Conversely, if you believe President Bush should be re-elected, please state why.
Please state who you would like to see win the Presidency in 2004 and whether or not you believe he/she has a chance of winning.
Thanks,
Jim

Jim, you forgot Bush did not cut capital gains enough in a Down Economy, when most people are losing money on their investments. Some people are really upset about this, though it does not makes sense to me. Do people pay income taxes on negative gains?

You two wild animals (That is said with the utmost of affection BTW), are the exceptions to the "THEY" that I am referring to....."THEY" know who they are.
There are "THEY" factions on all sides, and I doubt any of them know.

They are no longer law breakers. They are legally resident aliens. Let's count them, log them, assure them and vet them.
Check out my #797.
Maybe it'll do a better job of phrasing the question I've been trying to ask you since last night.

Nothing like bringing another unrelated argument from thread to thread. And we know you have never done that! LOL!

Since this thread deals with our support of who is in the Whitehouse, I still am interested if you can spit out a YES or NO answer to Howlins question. If you say this is not the thread, well, answer her question to you on the thread where it "belongs" (that she wrote to you a few hours ago) as I am quite interested in what a "true conservative" thinks. Thanks!

I think he's evil and I think he has an evil agenda,Your complete lack of spiritual discernment is showing. Want to rethink that absurd statement after spending some time in prayer?

Your complete lack of spiritual discernment is showing. Want to rethink that absurd statement after spending some time in prayer?Could you send that to some other people, as well? That is a reminder we could all use.

I heard about the sam and the show, but not that the scam was on the show. Unfortunately I'm gonna miss it, as I'm about to step out to work.
Thanks for the heads up. BTW, see my post at #797 on this thread.

My vote......a little weak on #8, but otherwise an incredibly strong President, who will be reelected in a landslide.
IMO, more Conservative goals will be achieved in his 8 years of Presidency than in any other previous presidency, because he is a patient man who is willing to move incrementally.

Sure......do you want to give me some names? :o)
Actually, I need to remind myself that the most powerful thing I can do for him is to pray for wisdom and discernment in his decision making. I believe those prayers are being answered.

I just got here too.........interesting thread, to say the least!
To: Sabertooth
I can't sya that I disagree with you on your position on our rediculous immigration policies, I don't agree with allowing illegals to butt in front of aliens who are trying to come here legally, It's a travesty in my opinion. I also know that all the complaining in the world here at FR will not fix it. I voice my complaints to a fellow named Roscoe Bartlett, he's my Congressman.
I don't blame President Bush for the situation we are in, I do find it troubling that it seems he isn't making much of an attempt to change our policies but I will give him some slack considering he has been in office for all of 17 months. BTW did you here Colin Powell canned an entrenched liberal in the State Department that was in charge og the "Visa Express" program?
