Can you say "outsourcing" and "joint development?" ;)
To: *China stuff

DF-31s are already in service and can reach the west coast and Alaska. Longer range DF-41s are being developed and should be ready in 2-3 years and will cover all of the US. O.K. Here's the plan.......
On Labor Day weekend, every Republican on the West Coast and Alaska is hereby instructed to pack his family and the dog into the car and drive east of the Mississippi River. On the Tuesday after Labor Day, President Bush will lauch an all-out nuclear strike against China.
P.S. Don't tell the Democrats.

Why not just tell them to hit the Blue Zone (time on target), and we can just be sure to not be there. After all, the 'Rats would stay put - since the ChiComs are our "partners and friends".
The PLA thanks you for shopping at WalMart. Traitor.

I don't know about the Boomers outta Bangor, but a friend's son is deployed outta Seattle. Now who do you think those Tridents are targeted against? One sub carries 24 missiles with 8 mirved warheads with a 150 meter CEP.
I dont think they want to start anything!

What about their ballistic missile submarines?? Where if they had a patient captain could park a few miles off our coast anywhere in the country.

What about their ballistic missile submarines??They have one, built in the late 1970s. The biggest danger our submarines face in tracking this beast when it puts to sea is that the sonar technicians might go deaf.

I'll bet good money that like the SR-71, the missile shield has been in place for a while. The public just doesn't know about it. Something to consider:
What is HAARP?

They are working on a sub launched version of the DF-31 (JL-??) but I don't know if they have any newer boomers in the works. Their last attempt at SSNs/SSKs was a failure by the fact that they are recently reported to have gone for 6-8 Russian Kilo SSKs.

They are supposedly working on the boomer, but they seem to be having a problem building submarines.
BTW, the SLBM version of the DF-31 is usually called the JL-2.

"I'd love to see a total boycott of China; and to those "useful idiots" who invested corporate funds in China, I say : "Nasty break !"
Just a little note on that for all the Wal-Mart shoppers : When I buy from Wal-Mart I try to stay with "anything but" China made goods --- Dog Food, CD's, OTC meds, toothpaste, etc.
I drink a fair amount of Juices. Bought a half gallon jug of Apple Juice. At home I read the little dotted message on the jug ---"Made from Concentrate from China".
We're funding China's missiles.

And we have missiles targeted at Beijing, Shanghai, Guangdong, etc.
So what? They know, as they have always known, that if they try to nuke us, China will be reduced to irradiated dust for the next 10,000 years. This really doesn't change a thing, except for the overly paranoid.

Wow !! 60 whole missiles ? I'm like terrified ..... we had what 2000 at the height of the Cold War plus 10, nuclear warheads. The US would be somewhat worse off without sixty of our largest population centers. Counting the effects of fallout, you're easily talking about 150-200 million casualties. Not fun.
Besides .... I'll bet good money that like the SR-71, the missile shield has been in place for a while. The public just doesn't know about it.
Its like the Doomsday Device in Dr. Strangelove. It doesn't do a damn's bit of good if you don't publicize it.

When you're playing poker with another guy do you tell him you have 4 aces before he bets ?

The US would be somewhat worse off without sixty of our largest population centers. They vote Democrat. How would we be worse off? :o)
BTW, what would the US do in retaliation? And once they've fired all 60 of their missiles at the US, they have none to fire at European Russia; the Russians might get the idea to take out a long-time enemy.

Actually, you're not. Massive casualties like that are only likely in a full-on countervalue AND counterforce exchange--and that requires deliverable warhead figures from the coldest days of the Cold War.

My boycott of China has lasted 10 years....it will last another...but their "students" and research assistants have stolen us blind and Clinton gave them the rest , IMHO for a billion dollars in Pacific banks....noticed him travelling in that area already? ...checking his payoffs...can anyone spell T-R-E-A-S-O-N

They vote Democrat. How would we be worse off?Well, I for one live well within the blast radius of a nuclear strike on the Pentagon, and my office is a few hundred feet from the White House. So I'd say I have something of a vested interest in not getting nuked.

You could be talking about three-six million casualties in New York, alone. The numbers add up very quickly. Not to mention the fact that the world economy would more or less come to a complete and utter stop.
