President Bush and First Lady Laura welcome Polish President Aleksander Kwasniewski and his wife, Jolanta, to only the second State visit since Bush was sworn in. Bush and his colleague also answered a round of questions from reporters, including more questions to the President regarding his tenure at Harkin oil. The President and his guests attended the State dinner this evening. Enjoy your daily dose of Dubya!

Ohio, the only one GWB is in bed with is Laura. To hell with the liberal Chris Matthews

I have to agree with you about the First Lady, RWP. What's with the blue bow thingy? I'm not one of the fashion police but that looks just awful to me.

The pictures of Laura in the dining hall are really striking ..... and she looks lovely in pink ....... and the gold dress would be gorgeous without that hideous bow. What was she thinking?

Did you see my request from last night? If not, I'll repeat it tonight.

What incredible pixes this evening -- nothing like a formal dinner at the Whitehouse to showcase our handsome (and classy) first couple!!!!

That blue striped tie -- is that the one George wore when he was sworn in as Prez?

Laura is pretty in pink!

That makes a few of us that don't like the bow. Otherwise, the gown is lovely.

I think Laura is beautiful, but this might be the first time a visiting First Lady looks better than she does. Gotta give credit where it's due. I still love ya, Laura.
I agree with you here Rin. It's that blue sash thing going on. It doesn't flatter her. Maybe we can't see if it is bringing out some blue in the dress, but it doesn't photograph well. I usually concentrate on her face. She has the most lovely and serene face. The First Lady of Poland is a knockout - just hope she doesn't do a deep curtsy tonight !!! LOL

STILL! I was amazed how well Bush kept his cool. The man has what it takes for those that try to get him off balanced.

Add me to the list of those that aren't fond of the bow.

Quite frankly, it shocked me.

What is C-SPAN?

I think it is now called C-SPIN. or Clinton Spin. That's the way it seems lately. They hardly ever show THIS wonderful President. I'm sick of the media. Did I mention that?? LOL
