There's absolutely nothing "serious" about Harken. The American people already see it, like Bush's connection to Enron.

Is it more like:

  1. Neil's connection to Silverado?
(sorta guilty but we'll give you a pass)

    or

  2. Clinton's connection to Whitewater?
(which was so tenuous that Starr couldn't use a damn thing from his multi-million dollar pile of evidence and had to focus on a blob of semen and Clinton's lying about his personal life instead).

(Just a number will do. Thanks in advance for your much-appreciate opinion.)

This is a just a sideshow.. If the SEC didn't move on Bush there is nothing actionable to be found.

The main attraction is the smearing of the VP, this is fluff and trendy November window dressing.

none of which ever seem to include the machinations of assorted Materialist rulers and their running dogs.

Your penchant for Huey Longism is showing. Oh well such is life in hypocrisy for a populist. Kinda of like Pat Buchanan.

On this much we're agreed.

This year's "summer news slump" appears to be a pile-on against Bush sufficient to cause his faithful to rally despite the blow to the solar plexus which is the much-needed market correction.

Far more action-packed than either the Little Elian thing or the Condidit carny game.

Clinton's role in corporate fraud: Character doesn't count. 'It's the economy, stupid' (meaning money is more important than honesty).

Huh, I don't see Bush appointing Robert Rubin to be the new Secretary of the Treasury.

Oh that's right to you Robert Rubin is out of sight and out of mind when it concerns the Clinton years.

You live by the 60's mantra,

La La La, let's live(and blame) for today.

And you don't think the Chency thing is a Klayman will-smear-for-dollars tactic?

I mean, look at the timing.. Klayman hits on the same day as Dubya is giving his little preach on "corprate responsability" and the NYT breaks it.

The timing looks really bad, it looks coordinated to me.

(And I was only teasing you about the eyebrows RDavis.. I am sorry!)

Da Kingfish?!? Lol ...

La La La, let's live(and blame) for today.

The idea you're now singing your replies as well is enough to make me bust a gut. You really are a riot.

If you'll notice -- "Bush-basher" that I am -- I've rarely, if ever, held Bush actually responsible for anything save for failing to abide by his Personal Convictions.

The market thing's High Drama. Could happen to anybody at any time. Why do you think folks like Clinton have such a hard time keeping a straight face as they comment?

More like #2. LOL (However, there are a lot of OTHER scandals involving Clinton that I notice you didn't mention.)

Well, you've hit on my one abiding doubt where Klayman is concerned.

Were the GOP capable of "Conspiracy"
(heh heh ... as if they'd take a WINNING page from the Left's playbook ...),
then indeed I suspect the use of Klayman as lightning rod to rally the defenses of GOP faithful for Charge after Charge would be not only expedient but practically foolproof.

(I don't believe that and I think Klayman's timing has much to do with the fact his ear is to the ground in D.C. ... But, it's certainly a nice theory.)

The only problem being that, if such a thing were true, ALL the Klayman bashers on this board would not only be Useful Idiots but Useful Idiots of their own Stupid Party!! The irony's just too rich for me, even, to swallow.

Even if I know full well that it's the GOP who made abortion the linchpin of our "voluntary" pop-control policies at home and abroad yet let their "anti-abort" IMAGE cause them to perpetually lose to the Litmus Test Lockstep for the next 30 years.

Curiouser and curiouser.

I have this in common with the GOP.

Though it's true I was posting the Tainted Blood Scandal box of link just earlier today.

Regards.

Huh, it has always been said that humor is based on truth, no wonder you are busting a gut over the truth presented as humor, facing the truth(especially the fact that Kissinger does not control the world) hurts the most to you and your comrades(Fred, Bill, and rd).

The market thing's High Drama. Could happen to anybody at any time. Why do you think folks like Clinton have such a hard time keeping a straight face as they comment?

Yep and JMO, but I think that people are seeing through the Clintons' smirks. Maybe not in a snapshot poll with biased questions by Zogby, CBS, or ABC, but in the long term yes. We shall see, and I have no doubt that you will trash your friends for you to feel pious, because IMHO, being pious is more important to you(and Fred, Bill, and rd) than actually trying to get things done.

Well, pop my balloon, will ya'!!

What PROOF do you have that Hank ain't in charge? Maybe he has to share some of the power with that Walter Cronkite guy sometimes (usually when he's involved in his numerous 'Romantic' interludes), but he's The Man!

He's The 'Go To Guy' for GHWB, Slick, GWB, maybe even Cheeney. Just Ask Him!

To my knowledge, I've never alleged that Kissinger ran the world. I leave that to the likes of idiot savant Bidnessman Malcolm Forbes who -- when Liz Taylor whined that Mr. Hanky wasn't going to stay for the birthday fireworks -- remarked, "My dear, it's Henry who usually starts them."

You don't understand my view of Kissinger in the least.

being pious is more important to you(and Fred, Bill, and rd) than actually trying to get things done.

Welp, ya got me.

I'm willing to take a break from bumping the Congressional Record excerpts which prove beyond a shadow of a doubt that the Dems stole all their best lines about the Environment and Population control from Poppa Bush, seconding Uncle Bill's trumpeting of the truth (I trust you caught his Schlafley links last night ... she's another insufferably pious heroine of mine).

Why don't you thumbnail for me how it is your simpleminded retorts and personal attacks relate to "trying to get the job done".

What job, exactly, are you doing when you shout down the folks who keep waving the Declaration of Independence, primary quotes, timelines and Facts in your face?

"What job, exactly, are you doing"

Commonly known a "Shilling". Not the money, their job. Normally they post a series of extended ramblings that, at least to them, justify ANY action of their party. No matter if it's covering for jr. on the Immigration Issue, the failure to undo the Socialistic/UN Supreme, Fund the IMF, diddle in every Nation's Sovereignty, Provide "Peacekeepers" to Puckey Huddle, and enact Bill of Rights Destroying "Acts", they'll cover for them.

To them, that's progress.

Translation:

Bush is bad, Republicans are bad, I'm right, you're wrong, nah nah nah.

End of translation

Saves folks time reading the daily anti-Bush rants.

You're welcome.
