The four of us I-Hate-Cooking-Sisters will henceforth be known as:
The Kleenup Krew on the USO Canteen!
HIP HIP HOORAY !!!
Hang up your ladles for life, ladies!!
LOL
I can clean up so me and Kathy in Alaska will help in the cleanup (I also mess up well - but that probably doesn't help).
And I can listen well, pray if called upon, and write letters if needed. Maybe some of those things are needed here occasionally. I'm sort of your old Aunt Maude type of person...who does like to "go out to eat!!!" more than to cook!!! (since I do make such a mess).
And the only skwerrells I like are the ones running around outside my back window in the trees behind my house .... not ones that end up in stews and things!
Thank you, B.
Hummmm........now you've got me worried!
What gender was that bug I got a hug from last night?
I can give you a regular {{{HUG}}} because you are one of the Boyz and I'm a 100% non-homo Gurl!
Bunny, Rocky needs a song of his own....

I guess I've lived in California too long. It's easy to lose hope out here. . .
Here's the part that counts:
Young, Rodger W., Private,
148th Infantry, 37th Infantry Division (the Ohio Buckeyes);
born Tiffin, Ohio, 28 April 1918; died 31 July 1943,
on the island of New Georgia, Solomons, South Pacific, while singlehandedly attacking and destroying an enemy machine-gun pillbox. His platoon had been pinned down by intense fire from this pillbox; Private Young was wounded in the first burst. He crawled toward the pillbox, was wounded a second time but continued to advance, firing his rifle as he did so. He closed on the pillbox, attacked and destroyed it with hand grenades, but in so doing he was wounded a third time and killed.His bold and gallant action in the face of overwhelming odds enabled his teammates to escape without loss; he was awarded posthumously the Medal of Honor.
