Oh ... really ? Is this something which you read in some strange, revisionist history book ? Ike did VERY little, whilst in office, and he and his administration were responsible for quite a number of things that the fringer CINOs here, would call Conservative.
Just out of morbid curiousity, if you were even alive, during one or more of Ike's terms in office, how old were you back then ?
To: Twodees
What gives you the standing to call Uncle Bill that? You need to shut up before you make a bigger fool of yourself than usual.Care to vote on the fool around here?
To: Texasforever
Yeah, I believe *much* of it is the truth.....And they come from many different sources...
To: Texasforever
Now do you believe they are all lies?
To: Joe Hadenuf
And they come from many different sources... Name them.
To: Texasforever
"Your point?"My point is: Rather than enforce sovereign US borders from illegal invasion, Dubya does NOTHING, NADA, ZIPPO because he either fears losing the "Hispanic" vote, OR doesn't think illigal immigration is a problem....
Care to defend Dubya on this charge??
To: Joe Hadenuf
Now do you believe they are all lies? They are OPINIONS. Nothing more nothing less.
To: Texasforever

Where do you live, and what is your full name? You're missing the important point here. Howlin's first name is already fairly well known on this forum, and she has her last name, middle initial, and city/state posted on her home page. People who wish to remain anonymous, shouldn't post their personal info here. Does that make sense?

Here is the only truth and the key to winning back America!
Clintons and Gore and Rubin and Reno all belong where those worldcom ex's were the other day. On this and this alone we can agree the President was wrong. I am not going to throw my hat in with the rats or a third party or the anti-freepers because of it. Get rid of the rats from our govt and I mean democrats.
...
B/S, Mr Bush. Clinton is a criminal and a traitor. We demand a thorough investigation and prosecution. Our Republic is dead and our liberty is at stake if the next administration does not clean up this mess for now and forever more. Corrupt politicians must pay the price for subverting our Constitution and using their offices for personal gain."

"I didn't realize how indoctrinated this country already was to political correctness as evidenced on this thread. I feel safer when people speak out. When people stop speaking, well, you can judge for yourself. It's like when the woods suddenly becomes quiet."The Origins of Political Correctness
"We call it "Political Correctness." The name originated as something of a joke, literally in a comic strip, and we tend still to think of it as only half-serious. In fact, its deadly serious. It is the great disease of our century, the disease that has left tens of millions of people dead in Europe, in Russia, in China, indeed around the world. It is the disease of ideology. PC is not funny. PC is deadly serious.
If we look at it analytically, if we look at it historically, we quickly find out exactly what it is. Political Correctness is cultural Marxism. It is Marxism translated from economic into cultural terms. It is an effort that goes back not to the 1960s and the hippies and the peace movement, but back to World War I. If we compare the basic tenets of Political Correctness with classical Marxism the parallels are very obvious.
First of all, both are totalitarian ideologies. The totalitarian nature of Political Correctness is revealed nowhere more clearly than on college campuses, many of which at this point are small ivy covered North Koreas, where the student or faculty member who dares to cross any of the lines set up by the gender feminist or the homosexual-rights activists, or the local black or Hispanic group, or any of the other sainted "victims" groups that PC revolves around, quickly find themselves in judicial trouble. Within the small legal system of the college, they face formal charges some star-chamber proceeding and punishment. That is a little look into the future that Political Correctness intends for the nation as a whole."

Say, aren't you going to post your wife's vital information here on FreeRepublic? You know - her full name, and driving directions to your neighborhood? You're trying to convince us all this was just nothing to sweat, but you seem to be dragging your feet on that. Are you saying that Registered posted all that? Nobody has claimed that so far unless I missed it. No, I'm not posting anything about my wife. Wait and see whether texasforever posts my address, though. We'll see how the mods act about it too.

Isn't it pecular, that those who are unable to refute a post with
facts , resort to that " drunk " gambit ?
I've read the posts wherein the " boy " name calling occurred, as well as the ones that complained about it. I fail to understand why no one has yet to point out, that the SOUTHERN use, of this term, originated with whites, using it on adult, black males ( slaves and freedmen alike ), as an insult / racial slur / to put them in their place. Ergo, the indescriminate use of that term, here and now, by this poster ( who has a LONG record of using it, as well as other such words : " bud ", " buddy ", etc. , to FEMALE FREEPERS and he KNOWS that they ARE women ! ) , is just " baiting " ; as well as a personal attack ... no matter WHAT he later claims.

Apparantly you have a problem with doing a simple database search. So I did it for you, using a public figure. The same one you did, Elizabeth Dole.
Once you enter her name, etc. and the basic info comes up, ie name, active/inactive, her name is highlighted. Click on her name and you have her voter ID number, name, address, birthdate, ethnicity, gender, party, polling place.
I stand by my previous post and await your apology.
http://149.168.36.11/results1.asp?LN=Dole&LA=&FN=Elizabeth&FA=&ST=&CS=B&SX=F&MON=7&DAY=29&YR=1936&submit=Submit Here is the link to step #2, (after putting in her name).
http://149.168.36.11/results2.asp?vr=000000096315&cid=80 And here is the link showing what happens when you click on her name.
Registered posted the live links.

Uh, that post is a little confusing. Not really sure what it is suppose to mean.....
To: Twodees
I searched my name, and all I got back was my name, city, county, and "active" status. Perhaps terilyn gave you the wrong link. Also, when I click on the "hot link", I got the additional info saying that I'm a white female Republican plus my polling location and when I voted. No personal non-public info.
