Lord, I hope so.

I believe Denise Majette is also an African-American woman like McKinney so McKinney can't play the race card. This race should be interesting.

McKinney is saying Majette will switch to the GOP if she is elected.

McKinney is actually a bright and sincere member of Congress. And contrary to her public image, she is also extremely personable and friendlyMcKinney is a vicious, achievement hating, racist. She fully embraces the philosophy of Marx and totally rejects the philosophy of individual freedom espoused by Jefferson, Washington, Adams and their contemporaries. Further I find her to be rude, and obnoxious. I wonder what planet the writer of this article is from?

Your comments sum up, quite eloquently, my own reaction. This writer is much too kind to Cynthia binKinney.

McKinney is saying Majette will switch to the GOP if she is elected. That's just the start. In the Hilliard-Davis race in Alabama, Hilliard's campaign put on a commercial that morphed Davis into a white man...plus the antisemitic whisper campaign. McKinney is as desparate as Hilliard, so you know it's going to get UGLY.

The Sheila Jackson-Lee of Georgia! Believe me, I am no fan of Sheila, not even a little bit, but Sheila looks like Mother Theresa next to McKinny..

When a group of us were at the Decatur library protesting McKinney's positions some weeks ago, her father made a point to heckle and belittle us.
I hope I see him August 20.

I was out of town, but I heard about it. Like father like daughter, a pair parasitic a$$holes whose power is based on envy, greed, prejudice, and hatred. These two give racists like Al Sharpton a bad name.

Cynthia thinks she is playing to her constituency. Maybe her nonsense would fly in a different time, a different place. But not here, and not now.
Her problem is that for Americans, 9/11 tended to override the differences that the race-baiters use to divide us. She can't get used to the idea that many of her usual supporters have, at least for the time being, given up their "Liberal Plantation black" identities, and have turned pure Red, White and Blue.
Methinks it's time to stick a fork in her, she's almost done.

Is Cynthia McKinney finished? "Inshalla, is this the end for Cynthia?"

There was a Matt Towery who was a liberal (Republican I think) in the GA general assembly and then unsuccessfully ran for Kongress a few years ago. I wonder if this is the same guy. This would explain his view of McKinney. Liberals whether Republican or Democrat would be sympathetic to her.
