There is some disparate viewpoints as to just who engineered the 1994 conservative win. Unfortunately, there is little doubt that conservative momentum was pissed away by compromisers in the House until we now have King George II who has done more government expansion in 2 years than Slick WIllie did in 8.

I won't go into the Newt stories here - don't want to disillusion you too much :-), but GA does have a lot of natural born Democrats (ie people who vote for a living rather than work for it) who heartily support the government extortion of the working class to support their shiftless life styles. And the Atlanta Journal/Constitution (otherwise known as Pravda South) panders to the shiftless with its ceasless editorializing for more government and more restrictions on individuals.

I agree on the privitization of ss. anything other than total shifting is meaningless, yet you should hear the candidates adds here. Each one trying to promise more government largess than then next. I have yet to hear anyone Republican or Democrap say anything about reducing government spending or taxes.
