WASHINGTON — A briefing given last month to a top Pentagon advisory board described Saudi Arabia as an enemy of the United States and recommended that U.S. officials give it an ultimatum to stop backing terrorism or face seizure of its oil fields and its financial assets in the United States.

"The Saudis are active at every level of the terror chain, from planners to financiers, from cadre to foot soldier, from ideologist to cheerleader," according to the briefing, presented July 10 to the Defense Policy Board, a group of prominent intellectuals and former senior officials who advise the Pentagon.

"Saudi Arabia supports our enemies and attacks our allies," said the briefing prepared by Laurent Murawiec, a Rand Corp. analyst. A talking point attached to the briefing slides went even further, describing Saudi Arabia as "the kernel of evil, the prime mover, the most dangerous opponent" in the Mideast.

Oh thats okay, the Rand Corp. is just some Libertarian think tank that no one should take seriously <\sarcasm>

About time people in this Government start waking up. I have been saying for MONTHS: It's time to cut the cord to Saudi Oil. Cozy up with the Russians, invest in fuel cell technology, whatever it takes...

If you have seen Kissinger on TV the past few years, he's barely understanderable, he also appears a little senile.

No doubt Kissinger's "consulting firm" receives Arab money, the purpose is to use him to defend the Saudi's interest.
