How about the money that Khalid Turaani gave her? Has she returned that yet, have you heard?

According to the FEC's record's McKinney still has a net donation from Alamoudi of 2 grand. And she hasn't returned that, either.

BTW, McKinney has also received donations from committees that have received donations from Alamoudi and Turaani. Just another way to show her the money.

She hasn't returned a dime. And you know she won't. My friend who lives in the new Barr-Linder district is encouraging all of his friends who live in the McKinney-Majette district to cross over and vote for Majette. Freeper guillermo is also working hard for the GOP vote to cross over and vote for Majette.
I know I'll be staying up late on 8/20 to see the outcome. I hope Majette defeats McKinney soundly.

Absolutely right. The Dems in this state have fought tooth and nail for decades to avoid formal party registration. It's time to make them pay for it. If you're a Republican in that district, then Aug. 20 IS YOUR GENERAL ELECTION DAY. Go to the polls, ask for a Democrat (colored white)ballot, and stick it to McKinney. We all know a Republican cannot win in that district anyway, so you may as well vote for the lesser of two evils. It sucks, but that's life.

Man, she is really grasping at straws here, eh? When is the primary? The 20th...

She had to return $1000 to the CAIR guy, Abdurahman, who said something like "We are all Hamas...we are all Hezbollah" at a White House rally in 2000.He gave her some more money on 9/11/01 (I kid you not! Check OpenSecrets.org!), and she's kept it thus far. Even the Hildabeest gave hers back!
I'm tellin' ya, this woman is probably treasonous - if someone "official" were to look into her closet, he'd cringe from all the skeletons in there...

Freeper guillermo is also working hard for the GOP vote to cross over and vote for Majette. Boortz went into detail on his show this morning as to just how to crossover and vote for Majette!
What gets me is the unmitigated gall that she's not accountable to her constituents.
Do you folks realize that there are several private lobbyists that have been hired to represent the interests of DeKalb County residents on Capitol Hill, since Cynthia McKinney refuses to? (she is obviously too busy representing the Arabs and other foreign governments on the Hill to be bothered with something as basic as her constituents in lowly Georgia...)

McKinney - the only member of the house that does not stand and say the pledge of allegience to the flag. Way stupid.

I cannot remember which freeper relayed this--he's in McKinney's district--but he/she said that other congressmen in the area have "adopted" people from McKinney's district, because she only helps those who voted for her/donated to her campaign.

The McKinney campaign alleged Tuesday that there is a "smoking gun" document proving that Majette lied.
Maybe Majette lied and maybe she didn't. Personally, I'm trying to find an instance wherein McKinney actually told the truth.

Sounds like she doesn't want to debate. It's a red herring. McKinney could ask her AT the debate the same question.

I haven't been to her congressional website lately, but I noticed that her "news" page was full of stuff about Cointelpro, Iraqi Sanctions, etc., and very little about her district or programs.

"I was instructed by Judge Majette that 'There is no transcript in this case,' " Jones wrote.Whoever wrote this knows NOTHING about what they are talking about; that is a VALID reason; I am a court reporter; MOST of the stuff that is done in court is NEVER transcribed.

My wife and I will be at the polls early on Aug 20 to vote Democrat, for Majette. I can't remember the last time I voted that way - probably for a judge who was unopposed. We're excited to have a little say in this primary.
In some neighborhoods in north DeKalb County, the lawn signs give you the impression that the other Cynthia (Van Auken, (R)) is the incumbent. That's how much division there is within this district.
But McKinney generally tries to divide this community, and she must not be given a life appointment to this seat. It is bad enough that she has a highway named after her in east DeKalb County!
