Look here more info on why this BS could cost us if we don't stop it now!
,,,,
RANDALL ROBINSON (Author, THE DEBT): The United States government has been complicit in the longest-running crime against humanity in the world over the last 500 years -- 246 years of slavery starting with the American colonies -- and beyond that, for a century of "de jure" segregation and racial discrimination. So we're talking about enormous sums of money.

Or, give them land located within a Home Owners' Association neighborhood; that will cure anyone from wanting to own property. Whew.

I would like some free land. Oh tell me where I can get my share!
To: Retired Chemist
That is not too smart. If the government gives them land, it wouldn't bee too long until something on the land would be declared endangered, the value of the land would be reduced to nothing, and the government would end up taking it off their hands for nothing so the recipient of the donation wouldn't have to pay the property taxes.

"40 acres of land acquired in 1860 is worth how many acres today."
Given the fact that real estate holds its value so well, I wouldn't be at all surprised to learn that it equates to, say, ten acres today.

Has anyone asked Daschle and Gepharth where they stand on the reparations issue?

#61........ Every person in the world can jump on that band wagon, Denmark had bondage way back when.
And there is still a lot of slavery going on, only now it's black on black.

The whole point of my Alaska post, especially the whole frozen tundra thing, was that this was useless land that they wouldn't want. It's one of those "be careful what you wish for" things.

Black conservative pingIf you want on (or off) of my black conservative ping list, please let me know via FREEPmail. (And no, you don't have to be black to be on the list!)
Extra warning: this is a high-volume ping list.

The whole point of my Alaska postPlease give me the ANWR.
Just as long as I can immediately lease drilling rights to ExxonMobil, ChevronTexaco, BP, or any other oil company that will pay a commensurate and competitive rate for the rights...

It should come from their ancestors' country of origin . I have no problem with that. They get their land and leave America, a country they hate. Oh, a required condition for this should be the permanent revocation of their American citizenship.
You'd like that very much, wouldn't you?
Ancestors' country of origin? How can that be determined when the slaves bought on the Ivory Coast came from all over that region, not just one place?
This so-called "activist" speaks for himself and his ilk. He does not speak for all of us.
