Yes, I would. I am Filipino and my husband is of German Jewish descent whose grandparents emigrated to this country prior to WWI due to anti-Semitism. Why should we be forced to pay for an evil we were never part of solely because of our skin color?
Ancestors' country of origin? How can that be determined when the slaves bought on the Ivory Coast came from all over that region, not just one place?
Excuse me, I should have said *countries* of origin. I'm sure there's a way to determine such a thing. By the same token, how can it be determined that the blacks who screech for reparations truly are descendants from slaves? The burden of proof should fall on those claiming to be descendants of slaves.
I've seen racism from both sides, been called racist names. My husband was called a 'pink n****r' obviously for the reason that he married a non-white. I have a black sil who would probably be labeled as the black conservatives on this forums are labeled by libs. She says many things about the liberal blacks that most nonblacks don't dare voice at the risk of being called *racist*. Can a city like Cincinnati and others that have suffered riots through the hands of the black rioters demand reparations from them? Why should we stop there? How about reparations for reverse discrimination, especially from those nonblacks who were not treated fairly under Affirmitive Action? The list goes on and on.

I saw the saw and I never had seen or heard about this guy before. He wasn't even good at his reasons and he wasn't challenged well by OReilly either. If there was a lot of unused land around, I think it would even be a good idea ---land was given to homesteaders from Europe but I think most of our land is tied up now. Also for reparations to be real, you'd only have to add up all the slaves there were and figure out the typical low wage from that time and let all their black descendents divide up just that amount which wouldn't amount to much.
Great idea. Forty acres would be no problem and Zimbabwe already has a jackass for all by the name of Mugabe.
