NFP is more than 99% effective when practiced properly

And probably more fun but no matter how you slice it it is sex without procreation

Also until NFP became scientifically known it was not available . So I guess it depends on when GOD decided to let man in on the secret

"back then" people wanted large families to help with farming and taking care of the ranch, etc., etc. "back then" there wasn't artificial birth control like there is now. NFP developed like artificial birth control developed, over time and with a lot of scientific study.

What I don't understand is why so many people are AGAINST NFP. If NFP is as effective as artificial birth control, and safer than artificial birth control, why do so many people ridicule it?

Protestants opposed contraception as a whole until the 1930s. And since most artificial birth control is an abortificant, I know many Protestants who will not use many of these birth control options.
