RE your post #17 - Thanks for posting that link; I tried it but couldn't bring it up. However, that may be the fault of my computer and not you! :)

Re your post #16 - LOL...good point. But, also note: Ann Richards followed the same losing strategy the current FL Dem gov candidates are following: blast the opposition without mentioning the real issues important to voters. It didn't work for her then, and it's not working here in FL. Thanks for your post. :)

Your enthusiasm is contageous.
Thanks, RC! It's not too difficult for me to be enthusiastic about this candidate. Gov. Bush has done a lot to help FL students and teachers. BTW, I actually know several FL [Dem] teachers who are voting for him...not that they want everyone to know, but, they are. They say they do not want to go back to being 2nd class citizens under a Dem regime, and they know that's exactly what would happen. These teachers want the spotlight to stay on education - and they know that's exactly where Gov Bush has kept it for almost 4 years now. :)

So where will Reno next attach herself too?
I have always said she should move to DC and run for mayor there if she's bent on staying in office somewhere.

Thanks, Summer, this is a great article and most encouraging. Looks like the Freepers won't even have to use the ugly Elian photos...Jeb's doing a fantastic job just being himself and standing up for what's right!

Thanks for the "insider info" on Fl. teachers, summer. I believe you, too. Only a person who'd put their politics ahead of the children would support the current NEA agenda. That can not define the majority of teachers. It is a noble profession.
Get rid of the school boards and the unions...higher pay and more freedom for good teachers, lower taxes for all. (^:

And that's why the winner is.... GOV BUSH IN A LANDSLIDE! Thanks for your post, TatieBug. :)

Well, the NEA is not always right, and even when they do have a good position - and Gov Bush implements it - they still ignore him, which really annoys me.
And, hey, I am ALL FOR eliminating salaries for school board members. These people meet once a month, make a mess of everything, and get paid more than a teacher's annual salary. That is a bunch of nonsense. (BTW, do you hear any Dems on that issue? No, but a GOP lawmaker who is also a teacher is trying to rid his school board of their salaries, which I think is good.) When I grew up, being on the school board was a volunteer position which people took NOT with the goal of making a bigger mess of everything. Thanks for your post, RC. :)

He can't tout Davis as the polls are showing Simon even in some polls and ahead in others...it's amazing after all of the bashing the Lost Angeles Times has been doing plus the really ugly lies on the local TV stations...I haven't seen them as I don't watch anything local...only FOX! McAWFUL has been all over cspan this weekend just spouting about whatever...still trying to make something stick to Dubya!

If Dems lose the CA, FL and NY gov races, I would say that that does not bode well for them in the 2004 presidential race. They might as well nominate Gore.

Oops! Let's try that again. Miss Cote changed the URL on me and sent me note after I posted that.

Miss Summer, you can have the Moderator remove that if you want, or let me know and I will.....

Reminds me of Dukakis in the tank. Jeb looks just as comfortable on the Harley as 'Ratboy did in the tank.
And with that outfit, he can stay the hell away from my Harley.
