This article is garbage.

By the author's reasoning, Ted Kennedy and Hillary Clinton are not true liberals, since they have not instituted a formal socialized medicine system in America.

Just think. Hillary only proposed a highly regulated government health care system. She did not propose the federal government shutting down all private health care providers and making all doctors employees of the state.

So she must really be a ... neo-liberal, which is another name for a conservative. Right?

Actually, most people do not realize it, but a lot of what Hillary proposed has been instituted. I don't think they intended to get socialized medicene at that time. It was good enough to get people up in arms, then defeat her, then she could go about getting it implemented a little at a time. Many, many of her ideas were forced upon insurance companies, forcing many small conservative (well-managed) insurance companies out of business, thereby, giving the American people less and less power over their own healthcare. I hope no one thinks socialized medicene is dead. It is alive and well and growing.

I am sorry and I do not mean to offend, but your reply is fatuous.

We basically have socialized healthcare in this country now. Hillary!'s version is being implemented piecemeal.

Her mistake was that she wanted it all right away. 'Pod
