Breaking:2nd Marco Island Rapist Is NO SHOW In Court Today
Collier County Court | 08-12-02 | my favorite headache

Posted on 08/12/2002 11:33:01 AM PDT by My Favorite Headache

SHOCKER!

Farouk Murad the former U.N. employee accused of aggravated battery and assault on a minor in a Marco Island Hilton was a no show in court this morning after promising authorities he was going to show up. Murad's attorney entered a not guilty plea for him.

The mother of the girl was quite angry she wasn't notified and spent the morning looking for him and to no avail NOTHING.

The Naples Daily News will be doing a story on this due for release after midnight. Murad had reportedly offered a money settlement before leaving the country but it was denied.

Stay tuned.....

Is anyone surprized by this? I think not.

Make that stupid judge who didn't take the perps passport do his time.

GASP!!

I'm shocked. Knock me over with a feather, MFH!

Actually I'm relieved. I had promised to eat a pair of tennis shoes with a knife and fork if this guy actually showed up.

Please elaborate on this "money settlement", if you can. I'm surprised he has any cash left after making bail...

Correct me if I am wrong, but is it not true that a defendant does not need to show up for a plea? And, is this not normal to do this?

Just asking.............

I suppose Farouk Murad is out of the country, but where? Did he leave the country legally?

Now I'm beginning to remember the details: the judge, the stupid judge let him walk.

What was the stoopid judge's name?

Great job. I hope the story will talk about his relationship with the victim - apparently he was a "longtime friend of the girl's family."

Here's a refresher of his law enforcement/anti-terror background:

No he did not have to show up to enter a plea. His lawyer did it for him. But he promised the judge and authorities he would be back to enter it...right before he left he decided to settle what is turning out to be a civil suit against him as well from what I am hearing.

We-have-no-extradition-treaty-with-Saudi religion-of-peace bump.

I guess we can at least be sure this guy will not be returning to the UN. Is there any way the New York authorities can be forced to extradite him if he does show up in NYC?

He may find the reception in Saudi Arabia a little hotter than it was here in the states. They don't treat rapists kindly there......

He's retired from his UN duties, fortunately.

You'll never GUESS what UN committee he worked on. Go ahead. Just take a shot in the dark.

Do you know if there's a way we can get the guy put on an Interpol list, so that, if he should travel to a country with which we do have an extradition treaty, we can get our hands on him?

The ultimate solution: Join the UNRA - the United Nations Removal Authority. Our T-shirt: a view of New York from the East River with the UN building sailing away on a boat.

And, New Yorkers, just think of the empty parking places!!

One of the original perps of the first WTC bombing left the country and escaped to Egypt. He begged to be brought back to the US.....and he was. Word was that he had quite the torture session there.

I thought that raping children in Saudi Arabia was an accepted practice. The young girls that are raped are then stoned for being harlots.

Remember, the prophet Mohammed had several wives that were as young as nine. Additionally, this is the only way these muslims are assured of racking up a few virgins before descending to meet their god.

After all, not all young muslim men are martyr material and can link up with 50 virgins.

Thanks for the update, MFH.

This imbecilic judge needs to spend about 20 years cleaning up Florida's highways while wearing a pair of striped pajamas. If this community forgets what the hell has been happening down here, then history will keep repeating itself.

You're absolutely correct Shermy.

Thanks to the thousands of illegal arab bastards that lurk about North America, there seem to be more than ever. I'm certain you heard about the other arab that raped an eleven year old girl here in South Florida a few weeks ago. He slipped into her bedroom window, held a knife to her throat and asked the child if she'd ever had sexual relations before.

The child didn't know what this dasshole was talking about. He told her to relax and he would be "gentle."

Later it was discovered that this muslim pervert was working at a Marco Island resort, managed and staffed by middle eastern "gentlemen."

Here is an example of an arab "gentleman" racking up his virgins before martyrdom.

Don't try to excuse this garbage that is being perpetrated in the USA, Shermy!

On one of the previous threads on this case, a bunch of people tried to find out the political affiliations of all involved, and came up empty.

"He may find the reception in Saudi Arabia a little hotter than it was here in the states. They don't treat rapists kindly there......"

They don't treat kindly proven rapists.

To be a proven rapist, there must have been 4 Muslim men who witnessed the crime, and the victim must have been Muslim, too.

They DO treat harshly any Muslim who has brougt unfavorable attention to, well, Muslims. In other words, if a Muslim makes Islamicists look bad, and the world catches on, he's toast. Rape and pilliage all you want, just don't make it look like it's a Muslim thing. Do what you want, just don't get caught. Bad press, you know. Can't fool the infidels if this stuff gets out.

What a great religion. NOT!

Interpol was some time in the past a valid network of folks who used to do the right thing . They actually did some good work in the past , but it does escape me at this moment .

I wish that I had a cousin who knew a neighbor who had a friend in the mailroom who smoked cigar's , who knew ... It could happen .

I'd put cash on our own before Interpol . He can be found ; yes .
