Islamís Voice of Hatred, War & Insanity

Islam’s Voice of Hatred, War & Insanity

We’ve all heard the continuing harangue that Islam is a religion of peace and love; that despite what we've witnessed and continue to see all around us, Islam and its followers are only victims of misunderstanding. It’s just the “radical element,” we’ve been told, that are trying to expropriate Muhammad’s venerable doctrines, and to corrupt an otherwise beautiful theology.

Well, to dispel all notions of the purported peace, love and beauty of Islam, I give you ISLAMIC VOICE, a twenty-year old print (and now also online) publication that professes pragmatism and objectivity in addressing Islamic issues. The ISLAMIC VOICE “does not believe in being controversial, sensational, grievance-minded or simply a spokesman of the community,” so they state. Within their mandate of providing realistic, and matter-of-fact reporting, one of their stated goals is to combat malicious propaganda directed against Islam and Muslims.

Here’s how they handle their lofty mission: In response to the September 11th attacks against the World Trade Center and the Pentagon, ISLAMIC VOICE presents a feature review of the book “L’Effroyable Imposture” (The Horrible Fraud). Written by French author Thierry Meyssan, this work “dismisses the whole episode as ‘a loony fable’ patched together by the White House and the U.S. Department of Defense.” In short, Meyssan claims that Muslim extremists did not hijack the jets that crashed into the buildings, but that the airplanes were empty, pilot-less drones directed by remote control (by U.S. agents) from the ground. This story was published in the July 2002 edition of ISLAMIC VOICE. Considering that we have admissions of guilt by Osama bin Laden and his people, as well as the acknowledgement of Islamic leaders such as Hosni Mubarak that bin Laden and al-Qaeda were responsible for the acts, the use of this story to defend Islam is unconscionable. There is nothing pragmatic or objective about it. It merely fuels the fires of hatred for the West within the Islamic community.

In a discussion about dietary laws, their expert, Dr. Zakir Naik, blames the frequent “American practice of wife-swapping” on eating pork. He concludes that this activity is becoming rampant within the pig-eating (Hindu) community in Bombay. There’s nothing controversial, sensational, or grievance-minded about this bit of scientific drivel, is there? Nah, that’s just the kind of tolerant understanding that Muslim’s have for their non-Islamic brothers. It’s similar to their libelous claims that Jews kill Gentile children to drink their blood during religious ceremonies. Gosh, you don’t think that Dr. Zakir could be a faker, do you?

ISLAMIC VOICE also provides oodles of other near-hilarious reports, such as the one about Muhammar al-Qaddafi (the Libyan terrorist/leader/dictator) hosting peace talks between India and Pakistan. Just think, one of the world’s most notorious murderers hosting a peace powwow under his tent: the wolf inviting a lamb for dinner; and the lamb is the dinner.

However, most revealing, and reviling of all is the link that ISLAMIC VOICE provides to something called “A Brief Chronology of Muslim History.” The chronology breaks down Muslim history century by century, from the 6th through the 20th. In such a chronology, one might expect to find numerous references to wondrous achievements, scientific discoveries, literary and artistic accomplishments, and events that would distinguish Muslims as humanitarians or enlightened leaders of a true faith.

No, not at all, it’s an incredibly extensive list of all the wars, destruction, violence, and murder that Muslims have engaged in for about 1,500 years.

Now, I’m the first to admit that other religious and ethnic groups have committed or participated in horrible infamy during their respective histories, but I can’t imagine a circumstance in which any other major group would only highlight violence as their primary contribution to world society. Particularly so in a “brief chronology,” where there might be the attempt to portray only positive aspects. A chronology of Christian history might include the Crusades and Inquisition, but they would probably also list the founding of cities, universities, scientific advancements, artistic creations, and so on. I can conceive of two exceptions to this gross oversight: First, a chronological history of STAR TREK’s Klingons would only list wars, battles, and destruction. Second, if persons wishing to defame Islam created the chronology.

However, this chronology is part of a Muslim produced website that is hosted by USC (yes, USC, as in University of Southern California). The website is the “Islamic Server of MSA-USC.” Their mission statement is “This evolving server provides information about the fundamentals of Islam and other aspects which make this religion a universal way of life. We here at MSA-USC pray that Allah finds the information contained in this site pleasing to Him. We also hope that you find the information useful to you. Please make a du'aa for those people who have graciously contributed content to the site: may Allah reward them mightily.”

So here we have a website paid for and supported, at least in part, by one of our country’s leading educational institutions, that declares its most important accomplishments as being the death and subjugation of non-Muslims. And they pray that Allah finds this pleasing.

Based upon the foregoing, it seems to me that “malicious propaganda about Islam and Muslims” would be to call it a religion of peace and love. Muslims, like Klingons, clearly honor intolerance and destruction. Therefore, allow me to be among those who do not malign Islam, and state with all assuredness that it is a religion of hatred and war! Can I get an Amen brothers and sisters?

I want to know--what's a du'aa?

Is it a harmonizing sound, as in
Du'aa, be bop, shu'aa?

Or is it some meaningless gesture, as in "I don't give a du'aa?"

Oh, I'm sure Allah finds it very pleasing indeed. The murder, death, and destruction of innocents must bring a sweet smelling aroma before the throne of Allah. So why would anyone want to worship such a demonic idol?

Contrast with the Judeo-Christian Lord, the Spirit of whom brings, "love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, gentleness, goodness, and self control. Against such their is no law."

Wow, Mr. Rauch don't pull no punches. Good for him.

I'm all for supporting genuinely Moderate Muslims. (Those of you who contend they don't exist, click on the keyword for relevant articles I've indexed.) They need our help, and need to be defended from the Islamists. At the same time we must keep up the pressure on Muslims to embrace reform of Islam. We must constantly challenge the "comfort level" of the "silent majority". Neither Muslims, nor hand-wringing, PC liberals, can be permitted to continue pretending that radical Islam does not exist, and is not alive, well and active in the West as well as in the Middle East.

It's not that we think they don't exist. It's that we don't think they are really Muslims.

Even if you claim that "extemists" compose only a small percentage of Muslims, there are an estimated 1 Billion Muslims, even 1 percent or 10 million is too many. They refuse to deal with the problem, so let the US go in and do it for them, as we always seem to have to do in the end.

If you please. I keep harping on it, but for some reason people don't get it. "Allah" is simply the Arabic word for God, not a name. Arabic speaking Christians called God "Allah" for centuries before Muhammad.

This is not to say that Muslims are really worshipping God. Just as the English word "god" could mean some demon that people worship or whatever.

As part of National Military Appreciation Month, the Department of Defense is gathering signatures on a brief message thanking the men and women of the U.S. military for defending our freedom. The compiled list of names will be sent out to our soldiers at the end of the month. So far, there are only about 546,000 names. It is really easy. The web page brings up a space to type your name, city and state.

I had to go thru 7 different ones till I said give me one of your books and I will sleep on it. The guy gave me a special edition one. I kept it till ebay came along and then auctioned it off and someone bid $158.00, still not sure if I was paid enough to sit thru their BS.

Thanks for adding this. That was my point. I understand that semantically the words Allah and God are synonymous, but I think in discussing the differences between the religions it muddies the water to think of them as "the same God". For most assuredly, we do NOT worship the same God....

Allah can't find anything pleasing - he doesn't exist. Satan is behind this insanity. The muslims want to kill every Christian, jew and other non-muslim in the world. After that is done, they will turn on each other. Satan hates people and wants to kill them all - what better vehicle than Islam? I say nuke Mecca and medina now and be rid of this scourge once and for all. It's the ONE thing islamic fundamental freaks fear - destruction of Islam. Lete's see if Allah can protect Mecca from a Minuteman II missile!

"God" is Satan's favorite alias. Who would worship Mercury, Venus, Mars, Jupiter, Saturn, Uranus, Neptune, or Pluto these days? Or Odin? Or Quexacoatl? A few fringe types at best. Who cares?

To succeed, Satan must claim to be God. Which position he wants.

No. Those are names. But "Allah" really does mean God. Like the equivalent Hebrew word "Eli" said to be spoken by Jesus on the cross.

Used by Arabic speaking Christians for centuries before Muhammad.

Muslims call their god "God". He's not, but that's what they call him.

Why is this so difficult?

Why did Mohammed retain the local pagan worship of the black meteorite moon-god rock at the Ka'aba in Mecca?

Do Muslims consider that black rock which pagans considered part of the moon and worshipped as the moon-god to now represent Mohammed's Allah?

How did the Ka'aba turn from a pagan moon-god to something holy to Muslims?

Islam, the religion, teaches hostility to non-Moslem, that is not much different from any other religion teaching of superiority of their way of thinking or believing. The difference are
1) most other religions started to deemphasize the hate to others, and Islam failed to do so, and

2)most religions do not have the luxury of state support with billions of dollars budgeted to teach hate as well as networking of militants to force that religion down the throat of others. Now these two fundamental reasons are why the Islamists became a world-wide terror to be contended with.

If the US fails to recognize that, and starts to waste time and effort on changing dictatorship in Iraq, then we have people in charge who fail to understand the big picture. First, we must recognize that all the Moslem fanatic nations are authoritarian dictatorship of one sort or another. For Example Mr. Mubarak of Egypt can swear all day that he has a democracy, but he has been in office for more than 20 years, and keep getting 99% of the votes during the charade game they call election. Therefore, all these dictators who are able to govern with an iron fist, and forbid criticism of their government should also be able to FORBID CRITISISM OF THE US, AND ISRAEL! Second, We should disregard the concept of “interfering in internal affairs of other nations”, if the internal affairs of these nations is to incite hate against us.

To conclude, the US was given a tremendous sympathy, and sense of support from most of the world after 9/11. We needed that to help chase the flow of funds that supports the terrorist Islamic cells. Less than a year later, with the cells still operating in Afghanistan, Pakistan, and the Philippine, as well as the marathon fundraising in Saudi Arabia, we are disregarding our main mission, and focusing on “changing the government of Iraq”. The world that was 100% behind us in combating the terrorists is now 100% against us in invading Iraq! How inept can you get in wasting worldwide goodwill into a worldwide hate?

Again, the US should focus on Islamic terrorist groups and the venomous hate from the Moslem clerics. We must dictate to these dictators: “You employ these clerics, you are responsible for their hate preaching”--- if that continue, we will make you pay! JUST AS SIMPLE AS THAT!!

Show me in the NT where Christians are taught hatred or violence by Jesus Christ. The Koran and its prophet-murderrer, Mohammed, are models of violence and hatred. See the difference?

I have no idea. Presumbly because he liked it.

I am not trying to make the point that Islam is an acceptable variant of monotheism, only that "Allah" is a word meaning "God" and used as such by Arab Christians.

So Arab pagans called their top god "God"? What does that prove? If Muhammad spoke English he'd have spoken of "God" not "Allah".

The devil loves to be called "God". That doesn't make it illegitimate to call God "God". Capisce?

I don't have to show you that Jesus teaches hate, because he did not, and Mohamed did. However, that was not my point; my point was relating to the pride of affiliation that is common in all groups or religions. If you don't know that Catholics think that they are better than Baptists and visa a versa, then my philosophical point is mute. Again, you need to read my posting carefully. Here it is:
