Is this the same Yvonne who recently converted to Islam, exploring it after her release from captivity by the Taliban? And, if she is a new convert, is there any reason to doubt her objectivity? It reminds me of "The Bodysnatchers." Once they convert, they look the same, but they aren't the same.

Impossible!
You can't have a war against Iraq without Baghdad Pete standing on a roof filming it through green Jello.
Its a tradition.

LOL!! Incidentally, where is Peter Arnett these days? I would have thought he would be neck deep with Christianna Amanpour in propoganda footage by now.

I don't believe it. This "story" is over two days old and unconfirmed.

Yvonne Ridley is the author of "In the Hands of the Taliban" A suggestive title if I ever read one.

However I can tell you those troops closest to him do not have loaded weapons because he is afraid of being shot by his own men. See want gun control gets you. An entire country and large military under the control of a paranoid, dellusional and diabolical socialist. Looks like he will follow in his heros footsteps. Will commit suicide just like Hitler. This latest prince of darkness however will probably shoot his chemcial and biological aces in the hole just before he pulls his own trigger.

Good catch on the identity.

A woman who converted to Islam "in the hands" of the Taliban???
She's at least three bricks shy of a load.
