My sign REALLY pissed many people off. The complained that I had "HURT THEIR FEELINGS" and it was "OFFENDING THEM."

Standard doctrine. If they can convince people that there's a right not to be offended, they can silence all opposition. And, of course, they're offended all the time.

Thank you. I was really heartened by those who turned out as well. The size of the crowd was very intimidating, especially since there was no clear side for us. (If anyone kept on driving after seeing the mob, I don't blame you.)

The corner where The Regency Club is situated was closed to protesters and I looked at it longingly. I kept saying, "Hey, I'm a minority here, I'm a Bush supporter. I want my set-aside. I need help from the authorities so that my message can compete with the majority's!" (They didn't listen.)

Well, I've been gone for over a month now and come back to find Freepers up to their old tricks again. And wonderful tricks they are! I've missed you all and thought THIS is the thread I should use to REAPPEAR after my long "vacation."
