There's only one response fitting such a groundless, inflammatory statement such as "U.S. Leading Earth to Catastrophe":
"We're number one! We're number one!"
Probably not the guilt-ridden, shamed reaction they were hoping for.

Yes!! Major FOX dittoes. Since my cable carrier (grudgingly) added FOX News, I haven't seen any of the Alphabet news cartel since. Fox rules! We were delighted to see on a recent trip where we stayed in four different hotels in four different locations that Fox News is now carried by the cable providers. Also was pleased when I went into the local Radio Shack the other day, and the TVs in there were playing Fox News.

Disney doesn't host them. It's all a right wing conspiracy (being serious on this issue). What happens is that gay groups all organize to come together on a certain day as a large group and disney gives them a discount (as they do to any large groups). They can't turn people away just because they area gay. That might have been their mistake the first time, it happened. But when the same groups showed up the next year, seeking that discount, they certainly should have been turned away. A private amusement park can certainly set standards for behavior in its facilities; and people flaunting every social convention should not be welcome guests, if your pretense is that you are running a facility where parents can bring their young children for wholesome family fun.
Of course, Disney has been denounced for a whole succession of other insults to traditional social values in recent years. I just picked the most outlandish. But, as you probably know, some major religious groups have been boycotting them for the last few years.
Incidentally, the ABC Family channel on Cable recently interviewed a young woman who was planning to "marry" another young woman, as to her romantic remeeting with her intended. They do not have a clue as to family values. Walt Disney must really be spinning in his grave.

While Disney could refuse to grant them "Group Pricing", since they have in the past they would most likely be sued and lose. I do not know what their "Group Pricing" policy is and I'm too lazy to look it up. But I bet it is a pretty general policy along the lines of 'any group over 25 people...' or something like that.
And being a place of public accomidation, Disney can not deny them access to the park. But once in the park, Disney can eject them for behaviour they determine to be not acceptable.
Though how bad your behaviour has to be to reach that point in Disney's eyes is open to wide debate.

Also don't you love it when Ted Turner (father of five) rails against overpopulation?

Also don't you love it when Ted Turner (father of five) rails against overpopulation? After giving a speech on over population, support of China's 1 child policy and how the US should adopt it a reporter actually asked him about his having 5 children. His response...
"Too late to shoot them now."

What is the legal fiction outlining "public accomodation" anyway? As near as I can tell, private property is no longer private once it becomes popular. That's got to change. Or change back, rather.
To: Freedom4US
I'm not a lawyer, but my understanding is that a business that is open to the public, ie. not a private club, is a place of public accomidation and can not descriminate on the long list of 'protected classes' we are all to familiar with.
Popularity and size of the business has nothing to do with it.

"These villagers in Ghana risk being poisoned every time they go to the river. They have no access to clean water, like one in every five people on Earth. If all of us filthy capitalists here in the US would just stop driving cars, quit eating meat, turn off the air conditioners, and stop spending money on anything but clothes and vegatables, the water in Ghana would clear up in no time.

"Too late to shoot them now." Not according to Peter Singer, the chair of the Bio-ethics department at Princeton.

I dont think they call themeslves the "Big Gay Group." They just come in groups and wear red shirts and stuff. If Disney turned them away or didn't offer them a discount they could be sued for discrimination (and they would be!). You can't just turn away a group because you know the people are probably gay.

"The global economy has grown significantly in the ten years since the last Earth Summit in Rio de Janeiro, but aid to the poor is down, from $35 per person in Africa to $19."
Perhaps that's because people are wising up and recognizing that Africa is the worst investment on Earth. These people have got to stop begging and start building. The alternative is for aid to drop from $19 to $9 in the next ten years.

Isn't Mbeke the leader in South Africa who refuses to educate his population about the connection between AIDS and random, unprotected sex. Instead he allows the idiots in his country to believe that raping infant girls will cure the afflicted of AIDS. A real moral paragon.

>>>"These villagers in Ghana risk being poisoned every time they go to the river. They have no access to clean water, like one in every five people on Earth. It's the kind of problem that this summit is supposed to deal with."
Ah, can't they did a well? I mean, if your village can't get together to dig a well, I'm supposed to do it? I don't think so.?<<<
As a pastor once said (about India/Ganges River):
"If, after 6000+ years of civilization they have not learned to drink from the same water they defecate in, there isn't much more we can do for them..."
