It's the fact Nashville's union, and has productivity to match.
They were expected to be on strike today, and when they did NOT authorize a strike in Saturday's vote, the company simply shut them out.

Don't be caloling the new engines "MY new motors" - I think this clean air stuff is a bunch of hogwash; the whole country's being penalized because there are a couple of places with really dirty air, like LA, Denver, and Phoenix, and bunches of liberals live there. Emissions controls are not MY idea!
But cheating the system isn't the way to go either, and when the engine builders do it and get caught, well, they need to be big boys about it.
And if you've got a Cat that'll get 6.9 mpg, I'd get it rebuilt and keep it.
