Isn't it typical that the AP article would leave out any mention of MacAuliffe? After all, he's only a high profile democrat who made a killing on his investment in Global Crossing. No story there. Just move on.

While if the roles were reversed, Bush's name would appear in every paragraph. I LOATHE the US press.

Yeah, that'll happen.

If it does happen, you will be the last one to ever acknowledge it. Too much other stuff to whine about.

From another thread, concerning the CO Senate race:

But the move may have backfired. A week later, Republicans counterattacked with an ad showcasing Democratic candidate Tom Strickland's ties to Global Crossing Inc., the bankrupt Bermuda-based telecommunications giant.

Mr. Strickland, who lost to Mr. Allard six years ago, represented Global Crossing as a lawyer and lobbyist in 1998 and 1999, reaping $450,000 for his firm. He also turned a one-day, $25,000 profit for himself as an inside participant in a Global Crossing stock offering.

I'll be happy to see and acknowledge it - let's see 'em hammer the bastards. I just don't count on them doing it; Pubbies have wussed out too many times before - there are no hardball streetfighters on that team. To wit: Trentie is still "in charge", flouncing about waving his pompoms to lead the charge, cheap wig glinting in the light like a metal hat.

He's in charge. Uh, huh. Sure he is.

So you don't consider the CO example above as fighting back or streetfighting? I know I do, and I wish more Pubbies would follow the CO GOP's example.
