--Writing a check to a prostitute is just what Jerry Springer did a while back in Ohio.
--Why does he care about the threat of, ummm, exposure? According to Bob and Clintoon, oral sex is not sex. I am sure his wife agrees and is not concerned in the least.
--He SHOULD be charged with soliciting, as that is against the law. . .but then again, when did sex laws apply to democRATS? Republicans and conservatives, yes, but NEVER democRATS.

Maryam Massihi sounds like an Iranian name, but then the article states that "her real name is Angela Anglin". Huh?? As to how many political representatives are doing this, I'd say lots, but mainly among the Dems. This reminds me of West Wing producer Aaron Sorkin's little spot of publicity, where a prostitute he had been paying major money then wrote a book. Then there's Clinton former pollster/consultant Dick the Toeman Morris. BTW, there's no mention of Beckel's marital status here. Since he had the "masseuse" come to his place and paid her with a check (!) you'd think he must be effectively single.

Well they did say he was a "liberal pundit" but your point is valid. They would have lead it with "Republican Involved Prostitution, Extortion Ring" if he was on the right.

I want to read the same type of sleaze exposure about Begala, Carville, Emmanuel, Stuffitupalot, Kendall, Ickes, hildebeast and that whimpering little flamer lawyer with the curly brown hair weave that was always on CNBC.
