1. Always keep the muzzle pointed in safe direction.
Looks like he has it pointed at some very dense material. So far so good.
2. Keep your finger off the trigger until you are ready to shoot.
Okay
3. Keep the gun unloaded until ready to use.
Mag is out, but I can't tell if the bolt is open. I will give him a pass on this one.
For Algore, I would give him three for three.
Since the race is so tight, we have to count on Talent's voters being more committed and therefore turning out in larger numbers.
Count on the dynamics of the Senate elections to be affected by the results from New Jersey. The whole argument of Robert ("the Un-Bribed") Torricelli is, "I may be a bum, but if you don't vote for me the evil Republicans will take over the Senate." I've been following the New Jersey numbers in the last week that show Forrester with a significant lead over Torricelli. And I was in touch this morning with a longtime friend who is a key advisor to Forrester.
Bottom line, through Drudge and the Internet, it will be known early in the afternoon that Torricelli has gone down in flames. That news will take the wind out of the sails of all the weaker Democrat candidates in Missouri, Minnesota and South Dakota. And it will strengthen the hand of Wayne Allard, who is the weakest Republican candidate.
In short, it will be known as soon as the Torch has flamed out, that Li'l Tommy Daschle is finished as Bolshevik (Russian for "Majority") Leader of the Senate. Then in all the other Senate races voters will be free to vote on the merits of the candidates, rather than "accept a flawed Democrat to ward off the evil Republicans." That means good news for the Republicans across the board.
Then the next problem is to get Trent ("Notta") Lott outta there as Majority Leader. As I've written before, he has the cajones of a gelded flea. That jockeying for position will take place between November and January. No reason to fight over a bone until the bone is real. (Though I'm sure some background work has already been done by the likes of Nichols.)
Congressman Billybob
The turning point in so many elections. Who are the motivaterd voters? Who will cast their vote?
After all the mud has been thrown, who will have a reply, when the inevitable comment is made, "One is as bad as the rest...?"
It's been said before, on FR.
Do you REALLY think the drafters of the Constitution had skeet shooting in mind when they wrote the second amendment? Otherwise, wouldn't they have said, "The right of the people to 'skeet shoot' would not be infringed?"
How sweet of her!
Let's do the necessary parse of her statement, shall we, just like we always have to do with anything a Democrat says?
1. She says nothing about what the 2nd Amendment says. Last I checked, it didn't mention "hunters", only "the people".
2. "Using" guns is not the same as "owning" guns, much less keeping them unrestricted and unlicensed in one's home.
3. No mention here of the use of guns for "self-defense", of course, whether in the home or on the street.
4. No mention of concealed carry.
5. No mention of the rights of others besides hunters (no doubt properly "certified" and "licensed") being able to own or even use guns. Of course, we all know who does the certifying and licensing!
I could go on, but we all get the idea. She sounds just like Schmuck Schumer. Didn't we see that silly picture of him shooting a TEC-9? I'm surprised the article did not show her breaking clays with steely-eyed gaze!
Her past performance far outweighs her phony, gossamer words. She is an anti-2nd Amendment zealot, much less a dangerous lightweight. Like any politican who knows a losing argument shen she sees one, she is cleverly trying to hide her true postion in the hopes nobody is paying attention to what she really means.
The Widder Carnahan is a "loser" in all senses of the word. The voters of Missouri need to show her the door and let her go back to the farm where she can continue to carry on her nasty anti-Constitutional agendas in well deserved solitude instead of on the public dime!
This woman has never had an original thought in her lifetime!!!!! Men don't like robot women, and they certainly aren't going to vote for one riding her dead husband's coattails!
"Never mind."
