He's been here off and on. I'd defer to Jim Robinson to tell you what he wants about Thompson's relationship with FR. Thompson was here a few months back touting a group or effort to defeat Reno. I can't remember the details as such but I think the Gov. asked to back off or at least let it be known he didn't work for the Gov's campaign. I think Thompson also wrote for Newsmax at times..
You may try some googling or searchs on FR for Thompson.
A friend of mine who loves RENO sent me this.....she insists Reno would be great for Florida (she votes Repub most of the time)....I keep telling her Reno doesn't have a chance against Bush... so she sends me this. LOL! I asked her if she read it and why she would vote for this person....she hasn't answered me. She just wanted to show me Reno was a legit contender.
The only thing that bothers me with this letter... is that they ask for money... which to me, ruins the whole letter and I won't pass it on because of that.
There are some details of this in the Colliers' brothers book Votescam. It's been a while since I read it but the gist of the story is that the Colliers' had proof of vote fraud, I believe it was Broward county, and brought the proof (pre printed vote results from machines that used paper rolls to tabulate votes) to Reno. Reno responded by arresting one or both of them.
As I said it's been a while and I don't remember the details but if the republican party made an issue of it, it might not only be positive for the current campaign but might help to shut the "we wuz robbed" chorus that persists since 2000.

Some of the details about Reno are too shocking to print here. But they will be in the full edition of "The Real Janet Reno."
Janet Reno becoming governor of Florida would be a huge blow to Republican candidates throughout America and set the stage for a new Democrats takeover of the White House just two years from now.
I need your help to expose Reno to the people of Florida.
Help Us Expose Reno and the Democrats
I can expose the truth about Janet Reno to millions of Florida voters by going on radio and TV and appearing at meetings throughout Florida.
Working with NewsMax, we can also deliver a knockout blow to the media's attempt to portray Reno as a kind lady. We can do this by distributing thousands of copies of "The Real Janet Reno" before the next election, now just months away.
To accomplish this ambitious but eminently practical program, we need your financial help. Anything you can contribute our "Expose Reno" campaign will be deeply appreciated and a real service to your country.
A $100 contribution will enable us to reach over 1,000 Florida voters.
A contribution of $1,000 will allow NewsMax to take out ads in newspapers that can reach hundreds of thousands.
Contribute just $25 or more, and NewsMax will send you a free copy of its special magazine edition, "The Real Janet Reno."
Donate just a little more - $50+ to the "Expose Reno Project" - and NewsMax will give you a FREE 1-year subscription to NewsMax magazine (12 issues) plus a FREE copy of their national best seller Bitter Legacy: The Untold Story of the Clinton-Gore Years by NewsMax editors Christopher Ruddy and Carl Limbacher.
In all, that's a $65 value!
But whether you send $50 or $5,000, please send whatever you can as soon as you can. Election Day is now less than three months away - not much time to stop the Reno-Democratic-Liberal Media juggernaut working to distort Janet Reno's real record.
Even a small contribution can help us expose Janet Reno and make a huge difference for the future of our country.

Why don't you send this thread to karen@jeb.org? Let the Bush/Brogan campaign decide what to do with this information.
Jeb's campaign is very busy so you may not get a reply email back but they read all emails.
I send stuff to Jeb's campaign so they know what's going on out here in the real world. For the most part, Jeb is not really attacking Reno in the first place. If someone is doing it on his behalf, it's bad for him. It may be a trap. I do not trust Reno or McBride. They have lots of operatives working for them.
Then, I clicked on the Newsmax article (they're always asking for money over there) IMO. I sent an email to the Chris Ruddy, their editor-in-chief. I told him that Floridians really want them to start investigating Bill McBride and that they'd have to hurry up and write a book but I'd buy that one.
I'll let you know if I hear back from Newsmax. One this is for certain. November isn't going to be easy, even though I expect that Jeb will win. The dems are going to unite after Sept. 10, give the loser of the primary a primo job and then use every trick in the book to get Jeb. They haven't spent a dime attacking each other JR and McBride. The DNC is running the Florida election with a little window dressing for now. MacAuliffe has real estate in Orlando and I think Carville is in on this too.
Oh Jesus...God help Jeb.
Floridians really want them to start investigating Bill McBride and that they'd have to hurry up
THAT'S for sure!
Thanks ....please let us know if you hear anything.
Excellent choice of words...
