Well, this being Labor Day weekend and he being a former union guy, he is accustomed to taking this holiday off. So, I suspect he will be back tomorrow after all the parades and festivities are over.

(~now my Pa was a different story; a union man's union man through-&-through and just might've attended a parade or two, on this particular weekend...)
But, I'm not celebrating "Labor Day" more than anyone else (might be), per se.
It's just been blazingly hot & humid 'round here this weekend; &, so?
Been very busy making the rounds to each of my neighbor's pools.
I call such *visits*, "Swim-Throughs."
Mind you, the *scenery's* mighty fine, indeed; whatwith, the extremely pretty Indiana neighbor-gals 'rounf here always making a conscious, deliberate effort to look extra nice? ;^)
Naturally, so as not to be rude?
I've gotten hung-up at each house while hospitality's heaped upon my bride & I.
Ultimately, we've wound-up, "closing 'em down."
Started on Friday; &, will continue here in a minute over at Dr.Tom's place.
Hoosiers -- it should be noted -- are amoung the warmest, friendliest peoples one could ever ask to know.
We've found the people in this region make *ideal* neighbors; &, for that reason, alone.
Next year should be even more interesting; as, by that time our inground will have been installed.
So, it'll be my turn to deal with the comings & goings of thier swim-throughs. {g}
I was thinking it'd be neat to get Mudboy, sultan, KLT, & the scholar together over here for three-dayer, next season.
Yea...*just* to show these kids 'round here that not all "conservatives" are "stuffy."
