This is great coincidence. I had the same question/discussion, on a number of threats, not so long ago. Why is the US supporting and promoting Turkey's entrance in the EU? Is it because they love the EU and they want them to become stronger and bigger? Is it because they love Turkey, and they want the Turks to live like Europeans? What is the answer to the 128 billion dollar question?
By the way, Clinton's explanation, above, is a bunch of BS, and those who pay him $10, not $100,000, to hear nonsense like the ones above, are very stupid. They are very smart only if they write the speech for him, and he only reads it.......!

As long as the leftists are ket at bay,the US will be a great nation.
The US is not an empire, never was, never will be.
Of course, when the US tries to mind its own business, the left cries out that we are "isolationists".
Silly SOB's, the left.

Clinton's meaning was that the unique democratic republican form of government in the U.S. will end, be replaced by an anti-capitalist, anti-individual autonomous socialist state like the European Union. Those are the "shared values" he was referring to.
Clinton did, during his administration, and is doing now, everything he and Hillary could to subvert the capitalist U.S. to a socialist state. Their goal, along with the EU's goal, is a one-world, totalitarian state.
He is inviting Turkey to join this process.

the US would not go on forever as an economic and military superpower in the world as history's Roman Empire and Ottoman Empire did not last forever.
He's right about that and he has history to back him up.
What I take issue with is his attempts to expedite the process!
Traitor..
Our numbering system should jump directly from 41 to 43, skipping 42 entirely to reflect this.

I don't dare post it! Go ahead, if you do. I think this is serious stuff. This is a real reason to go to war, but if it becomes publicized, it will cause more damage! What do you say?
