What I love about this photo is the look of admiration and cheerfulness on the face of the gentleman just to the left of Mrs. Bush -- and on other faces, as well.

Yes, I noticed that also, and is the look of admiration and cheerfulness any surprise? Not to me

We shouldn't take it out on our TVs; poor innocent things!

In this case I don't think my TV would have mind

Maybe it was one of the (many) cousins......

You're right! Could have been Lauren, she's about the same age as the twins!

His co-Commander in Chief wife scared me even more. She was pulling his puppet strings.

Yep .. I always said she wore the pants in that family ..

Once it gets to the point of utter confusion, as it is now, people will be thinking...I don't care what everyone else says, I want to know what the President says and then W will speak and everyone will fall in line with his thoughts and direction.

Yup.

The only opinions that matter to me right now are those of Bush, Rumsfeld, Cheney, and even Powell.

And, for me, the most excellent National Security Advisor, Rice.

Bubba is a good time charlie, but Hillary is pulling the strings behind the scenes. She is the real one to fear, and we all need to be praying desperately that God thwarts her plans to be the first woman President

The t'other day I was contemplating the situation with hill'y being "elected" to the United States Senate, and asking God (again) why He let her remain like raw sewage on the national river. What came to my mind was Exodus 23:27-30, where God tells Israel -- regarding dispossessing the inhabitants of Canaan, (v.30) "I will drive them out before you little by little, until you become fruitful and take possession of the land." In other words, God was giving Israel time to learn warfare and grow strong. I think there's something for us to learn here. Will we pray Hillary and her HINO into submission to God's plans, or let them, and those who support them, thrive in the seat of government?

You seriously need to submit that idea at 188 to your local GOP affiliate.

I would LOVE to suggest that to my local GOP. But I have only two arguments:
1. Clintoon was barely in office when he raised taxes on social security.
2. If social security was taken away from the elderly, they would literally end up lying in ditches, just as the democrats say. THEN they would be put on welfare which would cost the taxpayers FAR more than the social security payments. (How come nobody ever tells them that?)

Got any more arguments? I'll give it a try.

Miss Marple and other strategerians should be able to give you lots of help (much more than I!), for your idea at #188.

I was quite struck by the simple way you put things in your post -- hillary sneaks into nursing homes and lies to the tenants (obviously not a direct quote!), and the GOP should send young studly guys in there and tell them the truth. I have spent time volunteering in nursing homes, and I tell you, this would work. The residents would be so overawed by the sight of a nice, polite, clean-cut, good looking young man who came to visit them that they would listen, big time, when they asked him, "Why are you here?"

Now, I realize this looks like opportunism. I do not admit to such an idea. It is making appropriate use of available resources. =)

Thank you for your "ping" (as always)

And, thank you for a most timely Psalm (Number 59---"The Assured Judgement of the Wicked".)

Okay, I'll admit it...it feels good knowing Saddam's not sleeping well through these many nights.

He's third from the left on the top row, right behind Jenna in the flowered dress, and to the right of Laura, who's seated in the chair.

See him?
