Helen has more of a touch of Clintonitis. She adored Clinton, and therefore felt Gore should be crowned King after him, and Bush upset her apple cart! I heard a radio interview with her at the RATs convention. She was definately a knee padder candidate for Bill, it was embarrassing how she gushed over him, and talked about how handsome is he! YUCK!
On second thought, she is senile! LOL

Speaking of the "Vile" one, Did you see him speak today at Cuomo's bailing out party? I laighed my @ss off to see yet another one of Clinton's faithful gat stabbed in the back by them. Hillary and Bill dumped Cuomo because their was more political capital to be gained in backing a black candidate for Governor.

I guarantee that the "Ginsu Knife Company" would make "Microsoft" look tiny if they could of sold the Clinton's all the knives they've plunged into their friends backs who stood in their way !!!

I am glad you have noticed about Mr. Draper's photography. His are the pictures that capture the joy, the sorrow, the love in the White House.

On a separate note, the History Channel is showing a series of programs called "The 9/11 Year." I just finished watching a program done exclusively with photographers who happened to be there that day, along with their photos. If this is re-run, I highly recommend it.

One thing I learned was that people were trapped in Lower Manhattan and couldn't get off the island. They sent out a call for all available watercraft, and people were transported in barges, ferries, small boats, tugboats, anything to get them away. There were pictures of this and it reminded me of Dunkirk.

Kaslin, I think that first picture of Laura that you put on post #33 was when she went to the Queen Mother's funeral and showed the Brits how a well-dressed woman looks. She's definitely not dowdy, and she definitely has class.
