Yeah, up here in on the left coast...thou shall not say ILLEGAL! I HAVE BEEN WRITTING LETTERS TO THE EDITORS HERE FOR YEARS ABOUT ALL REASONS TO STOP ILLEGAL INFILTRATION. Yeah, preparing for an attack is so much better than sane visa policies, protected borders, or deportations. More exciting to live on the edge I guess. Apparently that's how President Bush feels. I, for one, don't get it.

In case you haven't read, the 5, now 6, that were arrested in N.Y. over the weekend, ARE legal U.S. citizens, who have lived here all their lives, so just getting rid of illegals will not do it anymore. From the article i read here on FR, the FBI & others are saying that this now is making their job even harder, they are finding terrorists who are citizens with no criminal record! I agree closing our borders will help, but now there is a new group of cells composed of al-qaida sympathizers, but also american citizens.
