Ponder this situation: what if an attack on an office building takes place? Do you tell your management that you a) don't plan on coming in to work until they produce a reasonable security plan or b) let them know that you plan on arming yourself.

Let's face it: there aren't enough police or rent-a-cops to protect us.

I work for a subsidiary of a Global 10 company - and firearms even in the car is verboten. I do note that there is a current initiative in the company for increased security, including visible employee I.D., access to buildings and the usual computer system security.

It is against these types of attacks that an armed population really shines. Israel has had some major successes in repelling attacks with citizens carrying arms.

The anti-gun crowd must be shaking in their boots that Al Queda will try these types of stunts. A couple of these, and the entire country will be armed most of the time, especially in the "blue" Gorean areas!

I don't have a real solution for you just yet...but I hope you find one within your company...which sounds like so many others these days. By Global, do you mean Euro-connected...or whatever...all those ex-axis losers who are trying to cleanse their bloody, disgusting and well-earned reputation? Probably.

At least you're reasonably safe at home. This hurts and offends me deeply. Who are they to abridge the rights we've died for, and used to free THEM? A lot of our wartime success (twice) is that we were ALREADY a "nation of riflemen," which made training easier.

Can you imagine the political ramifications of something like this? The effects on so called muslim-americans? their Mosques? The effect on the left/peacenik/pro-islamic/anti-american/anti-semitic factors in this country? The open border faction?
