You Sir, are an idiot!

Being vigilant and aware are hallmarks in this day and age.

If you feel that LW is wrong, and you aren't keeping an eye out for strange activities (and this certainly would qualify as strange in the circumstances), then don't be surprised if someone whom you don't know begins to do the same sort of thing...

Paranoid? Perhaps.

But right now, a measure of paranoia is warranted, and it may keep you alive.

Be vigilant. Be safe...

Never turn your back on this man again.

And of you're not already armed, get armed.

At least the guy was more eloquent than some I've heard. While in Bosnia, a kindly old Muslim gentleman tried to convert a couple of members of my team (one was Catholic--don't remember if the other was religious or not).

Anywho, he told these guys they should dump Christianity and switch to Islam, since Islam is newer, just like you trade in an old car for a newer one.

Dont' miss this thread!

The folks across the street were having a yard sale to get rid of stuff cause they are moving to Elk Grove near Sacramento.

I wonder how much they know about where they are supposedly moving, or is that just a place they pulled out of a hijab?

piasa writes:

If Nasser's friends are moving, that may be a red light. Before 9/11 many muslims 'dissappeared' from their work or went on vacation.

From CCC at #33:

he asked my wife whether she was a Jew.

No offense at all, CCC, but you are rather new around here and I am not familiar with your posts. If this happened as you say [and you've already notified the FBI], it might be prudent to get out of town. Were you on good terms with these neighbors, such that they would think of selectively 'warning' you in this way? You appear to be perilously close to Sodom er San Francisco.

Since "good muslims" living in the West and especially America are living in the land of Great Satan, they must see themselves as missionaries.

Or, perhaps, God has brought them halfway around the world to find salvation in Jesus Christ. Muslim students, for example, might be out from under religious supervision for the first time in their lives, and amenable to new perspectives on life.

Here, here! Since I was so unable to say much during my conversation with Nasser, my wife and I have been praying for He and his family and our neighbors. It is time for God to take over. Although no one else may be able to descern a man's heart, God can.

I'm quite satisfied with my current bible and do not wish to "upgrade" to 3.1 as it attempts to replace my saviour with a virus.

Oh, Yassar is an elected representative, is he? Does anyone know the name of any of the people who ever ran against him? Can anyone name even one? Unless you read National Review's column (I think by VDH) on the elections, you won't even know a single name. Because you see, when Yassar runs the newspapers and the media, no opponents get any coverage. Even if they DO have the courage to run against him after some of the others have been threatened into dropping out. Elected representative indeed.

Look, call the F.B.I. not that they are any help, but maybe since this is near 9-11 you might get more done. Tell them what happened have them check out if he is here legally or not.

The posters are right about the need to be concerned about him approaching you and giving you a "chance" to convert. I wouldn't have been able to keep my steely eyes from melting him to the pavement if he had spoken to me. Just be a little extra careful, it could be nothing, but with these guys you can't just assume that it's nothing.

Please, CCC, watch yourself around this neighbor.

I would also suggest paying a visit to your friendly neighborhood firearms dealer and keeping a close eye on this neighbor.

We parted with me mentioning that today's reading in church was from Ezekial and paraphrased it as 'If you see a evil man and say nothing, if he dies you have his blood on your hands but if you tell him to change and he does not, his blood is on his own head.'

Ezekiel 3

16 Now it came to pass at the end of seven days that the word of the LORD came to me, saying, 17 "Son of man, I have made you a watchman for the house of Israel; therefore hear a word from My mouth, and give them warning from Me: 18 When I say to the wicked, "You shall surely die,' and you give him no warning, nor speak to warn the wicked from his wicked way, to save his life, that same wicked man shall die in his iniquity; but his blood I will require at your hand. 19 Yet, if you warn the wicked, and he does not turn from his wickedness, nor from his wicked way, he shall die in his iniquity; but you have delivered your soul.
20 "Again, when a righteous man turns from his righteousness and commits iniquity, and I lay a stumbling block before him, he shall die; because you did not give him warning, he shall die in his sin, and his righteousness which he has done shall not be remembered; but his blood I will require at your hand.
21 Nevertheless if you warn the righteous man that the righteous should not sin, and he does not sin, he shall surely live because he took warning; also you will have delivered your soul."

Oy!

Dave Wilkerson spoke from the same passage, and the choir belted out 'Jehovah Jireh' (My Provider) which happens to be from the Torah reading for the second day of Rosh HaShanah! Genesis 22

It's one thing for people in the Arab world to spew their anti-Jew, anti-American venom, because they are captive to the lying governments and media in their countries. It is quite another for an American citizen -- with all the benefits of a free press that we have here -- to believe the lies Nasser obviously believes. His mind is closed. Even if he does not overtly approve of terrorism, he tacitly supports it. He might not take up arms himself, but he will be glad to see his brothers do so and he is praying for their victory. A dangerous person. CCC, you are too willing to give the benefit of the doubt. You are probably a sincere and good-hearted Christian. But don't forget, we are at war, and there is nothing unChristian in protecting the precious way of life that we have created.
