Thanks Pippin. You are right, we are all Americans, and when the chips are down, that is when we realize it the most. Each of us was a New Yorker those terrible days after the attack.
So glad you registered and started posting at some point, as you have made a lot of friends here, and we all value your contributions.

I woke up to the 2nd plane crash. It was just surreal. I am in AZ now, but I used to live and work on the east coast. I broke down for hours. My husband told me I had to get it together because we had a business to run and people were depending on us.

I checked in on FR as soon as I could see through my tears. I remember the thread where Huck was telling us what was going on, and then he wasn't there.

All day I prayed he would be okay. I closed up early and came home. I found out Huck was safe. I thanked God for that.
