No. Reno losing the primary is a total repudiation of Clinton/Gore. It's a good sign. Granted, this McBride will give Bush a tougher fight but that's good. Sheesh. She ran for only 2 reasons: 1) If there was any remote chance she would be subject to some sort of prosecution (doubtful, but possible), she needed some cover. Running against the President's brother was all the cover needed. 2)If she happened to win, great. But the real benefit of the run was to stash as much money away as possible, reward friends with campaign consulting fees, staff salaries, and pay herself what she could get away with. I know most RATS are stupid, but those that gave to her and didn't know they were sticking the money in her pocket should give up on trying to remember to breathe.
