Senator Daschle,
I am writing to urge you to pass a resolution regarding the use of the military in Iraq. Our way of life is threatened by a two-bit dictator and all you seem to want to do is stand in the way of President Bush. How can you possibly no longer be convinced that we need to remove Hussein? You agreed with the idea when Mr. Clinton was trying to distract the nation from his impeachment. What has changed since then? Have there been numerous inspectors that can't find anything in Iraq? NO. Has Sadaam changed his ways? NO! The only change that I can see is that there is a Republican in the White House. You are playing politics with the saftey and well-being of American citizens, Senator. I will not forget this when you come up for re-election, and I will make sure and remind everyone that I know. You are taking the attacks on our country as your opportunity to stand in the way of what needs to be done in order to gain political points with the far left. Or you are a coward who thinks that hugging those who would destroy our country will solve the problem. I don't believe it is the latter, so it must be political games. Please stop playing and let those who take the safety of my family seriously do their jobs.
