Here is the email address for the Miami Herald reporter working on the Hoax Story. Do his job for him by pointing out the questions he should be asking:

Yeah, but I think I know three guys who aren't going to become doctors in any American school.

Sure they will, some school will take their money, just as the flight schools did.

Do you have a theory for the false tags?

Why do you suppose one or both of the cars went through the tollway without stopping?

Is it common for bomb sniffing dogs to alert on cars?

What kind of "medical equipment" do medical students carry around that would cause such a dog to alert?

I am sure this could be a false alarm, but there is more than joking that led to this investigation and I am curious about the answers to my above questions.

Where there's a will, there's a way. To coin a phrase.

Federal sources said the men could be released as early as today with a ticket for blowing the I-75 toll booth near Naples.

BS. What about the traces of whatever it was that set off the bomb sniffing dogs? There had to be something there.
What about the stolen license plates?

Maybe the authorities are going to release them with a slap to see where they go...to get a lead to whomever they are associated with.

The first and biggest clue that this is a BS story is that these guys were talking in English. Any terrorist who wants to jabber away is free to say anything he wants in whatever other language he speaks.

The hijackers shot their mouths off in the strip joint the night before they struck. No one is saying that they are smart. Bragging and bravado replace common sense.

Let me get this straight.

I make a hijacking joke in an airport and I go to jail.

I make a joke about killing the POTUS, and I go to jail.

But three idiots make a joke about being Al-Qaeda terrorists, alter the vehicle's registration, and run a toll booth...and they get to go home tonight?

Now that's funny.

The three were from different countries -- Pakistan, Iran, Jordan. I would think English would be a good compromise, especially since it sounds like they had lived in the US for a long time.

Watch the libs whine about how these nitwits were unfairly "profiled" by this woman. The same slimy libs who would crucify the administration if something did happen and the warning was ignored as "just a joke."

I can hear the future doctors on the telephone talking to their patient....

"Mrs. Christian...We were ONLY joking when we told you yesterday that you had cancer."

Jokes fall into the "yelling fire in a theater" category. You can't make a hard and fast rule, but you can certainly make the jokester suffer. They will now be on the watch list for the rest of their lives.

Any citizen who cops an attitude can expect to spend some time with the police. I know, because my wife can turn a routine police stop into a near arrest. I think this stinks, but that's the way it is.

If there's anything to the stolen plates story, these guys are gonna have trouble for a long time.

It's just barely possible that the feds will play this down in public, and put a permanent wiretap on them in secret.

The incident goes way beyond 'jokes'. If you sat in a restaurant ranting on about explosives, and bring 'it' down in WHEREVER...and the police catch you...you deserve what you get.

I repeat: TERRORIST HOAXES ARE A FEDERAL OFFENSE.

...Even if your idea of a 'joke' is to call a bomb threat into an airline, and if you are traced....you will go down, AND YOU WILL DESERVE WHAT YOU GET.

Think so? I'll bet they get invited to a symposium on hate crimes at Harvard. Maybe they'll even get invited to transfer while they're there.

After all, "Harvard Hates America."
