Boldened passage is mine. My dad fought in the Fifth Army in WWII, and fought from North Africa through Sicily and entered Rome.
Thank you, Mr. Berlusconi.
And thanks to President Bush for speaking plainly.

Fortunately, you did the Radio Address and I did the news conference! I have been haunting the White House web site to get this, and kayak finally let me know it was available!
To: M Kehoe
Thanks for your suggestion! I was getting ready to do that, but one of my sisters called. Off to get the ping list now!

Newsweek just released a new poll. President Bush's approval rating has jumped 9% in the last two weeks. He went from 61% to 70% today. And we all know that Newsweek is usually lower than most other polls. The RATS should be very, very afraid.
To: Wait4Truth
Many of the people polled have short attention spans. The heavy coverage over the last two weeks has helped...not to mention that the President has done an outstanding job!

LOL! Thanks!

Good to see this. When Berlusconi was elected there was great wailing from the European press about the usual conservative criticisms, as if Berlusconi was going to be the death of all things good about Italy.
However, I happened to be in Italy at the time and I found very few people who weren't very pleased that he won.

I don't see the subject changing much in the near future. Another point, however, is as the RATS see the President's numbers at 70% or higher, their morale will fall lower. They thought they had him right where they wanted him. Once again, they were wrong. This President walks with the Lord, he rules with morality and truth...all things the RATS are not familiar with.

LOL! Thanks! No problemo. I understand it was on their luncheon menu.

PRIME MINISTER BERLUSCONI: I consider the flag of the United States is not only a flag of a country, but is a universal message of freedom and democracy.
Now THAT is an ally !!
