This is such a bunch of crap.

The INS should only be so brutal. A bizarre Hispanic nightmare-fantasy of what the INS is, not the reality of an impotent, ineffectively weak INS which exists in reality.

Other stuff from this piece of Londontrash:

Are (sic) the US a democracy?

A sidebar explains: "This column is written by Marcel Leal, London Daily's Editor, that (sic!) for some time has written under the nickname 'Michael Bond'.

It is time for the American sheeple to rise up against airport security. Now who will be the first brave soul to do so.

What is High Speed Ground Transportation?

High-speed ground transportation (HSGT)-- a family of technologies ranging from upgraded existing railroads to magnetically levitated vehicles-- is a passenger transportation option that can best link cities lying about 100-500 miles apart. Common in Europe ( http://mercurio.iet.unipi.it/home.htm) and Japan (http://www.japanrail.com),HSGT in the United States already exists in the Northeast Corridor (http://www.amtrak.com/news/pr/atk9936.html) between New York and Washington, D.C. and will soon serve travelers between New York and Boston.
HSGT is self-guided intercity passenger ground transportation that is time competitive with air and/or auto on a door-to-door basis for trips in the approximate range of 100 to 500 miles. This is market-based, not a speed based definition. It recognizes that the opportunities and requirements for HSGT differ markedly among different pairs of cities. High-speed ground transportation (HSGT) is a family of technologies ranging from upgraded steel-wheel-on-rail railroads to magnetically levitated vehicles.
The Federal Railroad Administration has designated a variety of high density transportation corridors within our nation for development of HSGT:

I did a search on this man's email address -- ricabude@cpunet.com.br -- and found that this account has been posted many places. I wonder if it's an internet hoax, or if it's true. It sounds so outlandish, that I'd think it's a hoax, but I'm not sure.... Anyone?

He says he had a valid visa. If he didn't have one then he richly deserves what he got. But if he did have one...

I can't give you the details, but his visa was invalid.

He's just pissed off because he got caught. Most illegales we catch have the same reaction. Just a bunch of sore losers. Maybe Gore can give them a job in his next run for president.

See post #35. It's not airport security, it's the INS, and he was in violation of the INA (Immigration & Nationality Act).

Should have come into Texas via Mexico. Heck, then he could have stayed here a long as he wanted, gotten a driver's license, and maybe even been allowed to vote with proper "ID" of course

And RIO International Airport is in Rio... but checking that particular flight, it leaves from Sao Paulo... maybe the trauma this guy went through caused him to make a mistake on where he left from???

You can take flight 8836 from RIO to LAX. It makes a stop in Sao Paulo.

My name is Ricardo Abude E. Da Silva

These sorts of things happen to people who try to wreck the domestic US naming industry by smuggling in too many foreign-made names...

Well, if he's a Rotarian it must be true.

Before I retired I was a Rotarian and my chapter once had as a member a vice principal who had to leave town because he was making it with one of the high school teeny boppers.

There are lots of great people in Rotary but also some bad apples.
