A day in the life of President Bush (photos): 9/18/02
yahoo.com, whitehouse.gov
Posted on 09/18/2002 7:41:48 PM PDT by rintense
President Bush began the day by meeting with senior members of Congress, who later announced that there will be a resolution regarding Iraq before the elections. Bush then met with a group of cancer survivors, including Tour de France winner Lance Armstrong, and announced an increase in cancer research funding. The President also met with Czech Republic President Vaclav Havel. Enjoy your daily dose of Dubya!

Orange is my favorite color (actually more of an Orange Sherbet, really), and Periwinkle is my second fav.
I love it when he wears it too - we'll just have to think of it as his way of saying hello, and thanks for your support, to Mtngirl and NordP...what do yah say?

I read that thread and it is unbelievable. There is no way in the world those people should be electing democrats. They overwhelming support private accounts (Social Security), the 2nd amendment, oppose abortion, want choices in their prescription drug programs, and want the tax cuts to be permanent. They support all this and yet, John Thune, the Republican challenging Johnson, is in a dead heat. Go figure. I really don't understand voters sometimes.

Uh oh, I see your little name, and then I remember that I forgot again! I am hopelessly blonde A!Hm...what are you talking about here? ..... OH! The Bush Babe Bod-a-thon!
Well it was a pretty small group tonight. There were only four of us who were able to make it, and the four didn't all show up at the same time.
We are making great progress though! One of these days, gramho12 will have to post how well we have been doing! (She's the keeper of the records)

The South Dakotans who vote for Dasshole see him as a giant cash register. He promises them cash, they vote for him. He gets the vote off the 'Rez, he gets the farmer vote, etc. Plus a lot of people here are just stupid.
On another alarming note: in South Dakota's Congressional race Stephanie Herseth (sp?) is supposedly leading Republican Bill Janklow in the polls. She is a pal of Hitlery and is supported by Emily's List. But then again, everyone in the state claims to hate Janklow (current Gov.) and he always wins in a landslide, so who knows?

Do you think Bush's tie has anything to do with the color code the nation is under right now? Aren't we at orange?

Yeah, I know but the farmer vote is nearly always Republican. The fact is, it doesn't matter if it's the Dems or the Republicans, the farm bill is always going to pass. Too many small towns in rural America are totally dependent on them, not to mention the farmers themselves.

I will next time. They wanted to cheat on their taxes and call it 'civil disobedience' this time.
You know, it's almost no use talking to them. I live in the wild west (lots of them here) and some of these people are just 'OTB' (out there bad as my husband would say). I absolutely hate paying all the taxes we have to, but it is my obligation. But hey, anytime GW wants to cut them again is A-OK with me.

ORANGE POWER TIE! President Bush is wearing my favorite tie today! When I was in my "strong" moods I always wore my orange-red sweater. My friends used to say "Watch out, she's got the sweater on today!" LOL
Listen you two little jerks, I'm wearin' my orange tie
I believe you got that conversation right on the money, NordP!
Thanks Olliemb, the colored fonts are done with a handy software package.

Sir SuziQ pointed out that Daschle and Gephardt are sitting on Dubya's LEFT. You know, at the final judgement, where the damned shall be! I hope Those two are getting an earful from their constituents! Even thought the media is gleeful that the President seems to have been snookered by Saddam, they'll be wiping the egg off their faces soon enough! Bush knows Saddam can't be trusted, so he's continuing on with The Plan, and will drag Congress kicking and screaming if he has to!

You know there's a good chance that someone who is in the administration checks out sites such as these....and they might read this comment...and pass the info that there are supporters (that's you and me, NP) who love his orange ties. I choose to believe it's true! How about you?

Two-thirds of South Dakotans want their senior U.S. Senator and Majority Leader, Tom Daschle, to lead by immediately introducing legislation in support of the President's plan to eliminate Saddam Hussein's weapons of mass destruction, according a United Seniors Association's Statewide Survey of South Dakotans. WooHoo! I guess he IS getting an earful from his constituents!! (Is you, or is you ain't my consticiency!)
