House Democrats form anti-war coalition

A group of 19 House Democrats yesterday pledged to build a congressional coalition to oppose a U.S. military attack on Iraq.

"Unilateral military action by the United States against Iraq is unjustified, unwarranted and illegal," said Rep. Dennis J. Kucinich, who predicted "dozens" more Democrats would join their group in coming days to oppose the Bush administration's plan for an attack. "The administration has failed to make the case that Iraq poses an imminent or immediate threat to the United States."

It's a shame that a bunch of liberal communist traitors like this can be elected to public office. Shows you how far our country has sunk. Fortunately they are still out of the mainstream.

Rep. Constance A. Morella, the Maryland Republican who is in a tight congressional race, said in an interview yesterday that while she had not seen any proposed language yet, she would be inclined to oppose "a unilateral, pre-emptive strike to go to war" with Iraq.

This is why the RINOs are so dangerous to the Republican Party (and the country) and why the senate (with so many Northeast RINOs) is in such a mess even when we win it back in November. Hopefully the House won't get that bad.

These people will never "get" what a wonderful blessing this great country is and that freedom isn't free!

They need to be voted out NOW!

Marcy Kaptur's office is in Toledo, OH. She pulled this same crap during Desert Storm. She even lead a peace protest that closed down the federal building.

Several guard units were called up from Toledo and sent over. Kaptur had the nerve to show up to see them off when they left town. She was LOUDLY booed.

"Mrs. Lee, California Democrat, said she would introduce a resolution yesterday emphasizing the importance of working through the United Nations to ensure Iraqi compliance with U.N. resolutions. The measure has 20 co-sponsors"

This paragraph needs an editor.

These peoples names should be printed all over the news and when Saddam uses the first nuclear weapon or weapon of mass destruction they need to be brought before a court and tried for treason.Saddam is very close to starting a Third World War and this passive stance that has been taken for the last 10 years has only aided and encouraged him.Peace is not won by turning a blind eye.If Hitler were living today he could and would control Europe because this nation has become more liberal than ever. We no longer have people willing to stand up as they did in WW2
and I for one am damed tired of Conservatives fighting and dying for liberal as- cowards who become President and politicians. This country cant stand another Clinton liberal movement with the world being as dangerous as it is.

These scum are not really Democrats at all, they are anti-American unpatriotic admitted socialists and communist symps who don't have the honesty to run as socialists every 2 years.

Bring back Joe McCarthy.

"We have a president who wants to go to war. There is no question about it," said Rep. Jim McDermott, Washington Democrat. "He denies it all over the place, but everything points to it."

Shouldn't this guy be in jail for the Newt/Boehner phone call recording?
