RE: Continuing investigation on Clinto presidency.

It occurred to me that the entire Clinton presidency is like a Hefty bag full of really stinky garbage.

I'm talking really stink-o garbage...like last week you went fishing and cleaned the fish but the garbage collector somehow missed that bag of unwanted fish parts, and biology runs its course for a few days. You've got the picture.

I don't think I'd want to be around when either one is opened up.

You wrote:
Corruption is the systematic indoctrination of several generations of our youth with socialist dogma via government school systems. Corruption is the removal of God from public life and substituting in the evil homosexual/feminist agenda and the destruction of moral society.
My dictionary defines religion as "a set of beliefs concerning the cause, nature, and purpose of the universe, esp. when considered as the creation of a superhuman agency or agencies, usually involving devotional and ritual observances and often having a moral code for thee conduct of human affairs."

Liberals hide faith behind science. They do it for two reasons, really. The first, which they admit, is to elevate themselves with reason over faith. This is their escape clause from the above definition of religion.

The second reason -- which they will never admit-- is that theirs is but faith, and faith is fright, for they are incapable to believe in themselves.

A cross no more belongs in a public school house than the "diversity flag," or pink ribbons. The liberals have merely replaced one religion with another. For people to get it, we need to label their religion. I can't think of a term for it now, but maybe something will crawl out of a bottle tonight.

Anyway, great rant, Mr. Jim!

Okay, but there are people who think of Republicans in the same terms. That degree of polarization in this country is a Bad Thing. I personally wish we could get away from the zero-sum mindset. IMHO it's corrosive.

The rhetoric is not to my liking. The language of "hate and evil" can be too easily parodied in the hands of a skillful opponent, and besides, lots of people on the other side are not "evil," just misguided and misinformed.

But the overall point is valid. Protest votes, staying at home and other such nonsense should be avoided. Always vote for the most electable conservative candidate, settling for a less than perfectly conservative office-seeker if necessary, and even, in a pinch, vote for a RINO, since RINOs are more susceptible than Democrats to arm twisting when the chips are down and an important vote is on the line.

Well, when people throw out the tired old "voting for the lesser of two evils is still voting for evil" thing, I just want to make sure that they realize that there really is evil in this world and it's not just a rhetorical political smear. One party promotes the very real evil of government killing of the innocent unborn. The other party opposes this evil. The difference is crystal clear to me.

Don't you think it's natural to wonder why some user who claims to be somewhat unfamiliar with the process has to post material for the guy who runs the board?

Nope. People do that here all the time. Someone puts a comment or news item in the middle of a thread and others think it worthy of its own thread.

Get a grip. You're whining.

and I count voting for a third party candidate when knowing that he has absolutely no chance of defeating the Democrat...as doing nothing

In that case, it is still better to do nothing than to promote a lesser evil.

If the republicans were short of a majority by ten members, just ten Republicans in name only would give them the majority.

Yeah, just think how much better off we'd be if we had TEN Jim Jeffords! (/sarcasm)

The rhetoric is not to my liking

That is an understatement but dittos. This nation is in trouble if those with whom we disagree are viewed as enemies, and visa versa. Many hold opposing views in good faith, and are good people. In fact I hold some opposing views on some things from the majority sentiment here. I don't want any part of this kind of rhetoric. I dissent.

Great, great post.
Relentlessly attacking the traditional American family.... is evil.
Supporting a woman's "right" to murder a baby which is all born except for the top of its tiny head.... is evil.
Confiscating more and more money from working Americans in order to use that money to buy the votes of society's parasites.... is evil.
Having homosexuals go into government elementary schools to teach kids about "fisting".... is evil.
Supporting the cowardly use of big government to terrorize business people and hard-working entrepreneurs into hiring unqualified people who have a government-preferred skin color.... is evil.
Using the IRS to terrorize conservative organizations who expose your lies and corruption and who actively oppose you politically.... is evil.

All of these things are so undeniably evil and so utterly Democrat, it makes me realize how close traditional America has come to the precipice of oblivion. This nation really is on the verge of finally being turned over for good to the animals and the parasites and the political whores (mainly Democrats) who court them.

Jim maks a great case once again for fighting to our last breath to save the last place on earth. The scumbag Democrats absolutely must be defeated, and the Republican Party must be strengthened by ousting the scumbag liberals wthin it and replacing them with honorable and decent people.

I only scanned your article, 'cause I gotta go, but a comment, for what it's worth:

You will certainly get no argument from me about the Dem Party - it is perhaps the most completely evil organization on the earth today, in my opinion. But a question - how do Elizabeth Dole or Christopher Shays differ from Gray Davis or Gene Carnahan? I say that too many Americans today have been bitten by the pernicious Spirit of Party; George Washington sternly warned the country about the results of such non-thinking. The Nazis used the Bolsheviks as a bogeyman, and the Commies used the Fascists. They were all the same, but people rallied behind one or the other to be protected from the group they feared the most.

But it doesn't matter; people get the leaders they deserve, collectively speaking, no matter the system of government, actually.

One more comment - I don't understand your title at all..... but maybe I didn't read your article closely enough.

Some of the people who disagree with me (and everyone in the world disagrees with me on most things, it seems), are my friends who disagree, some are definitely my enemies. Whether or not they are enemies depends on what we disagree over, and why. An enemy of the US Constitution is my enemy. An enemy of liberty is my enemy. An enemy of the institution of family is my enemy. An enemy of life is my enemy.

Someone who is for NAFTA disagrees with me, but is not necessarily my enemy. Someone who opposes the death penalty for good reasons happens to disagree with me, but is not automatically my enemy.

haul out the paperwork on Livingstone
The book on Livingstone is simple: it doesn't matter who in particular hired him.

x42 knew--read in the papers if nothing else--that Livinstone had pulled 900 FBI files illegitimately. x42 did not even fire him immediately, and when Livinstone finally was fired "nobody" fired him. If x42 blamed nobody, then the responsibility for Livinstone's actions lies with x42.

There is no explanation I can accept for impeaching x42 for Monica and not even mentioning the 900 counts of what sent Chuck Colson to the slammer for a year. Because nobody else was at fault for it, and it happened on x42's watch.

Splitting hairs about what minion of x42 actually did the hiring is a fool's game. If the truth were known it almost certainly was Hillary--but it certainly appears that we never will know.

The mass media has managed to convince half this nation to suck the life out of the other half and politicians just buckle up and take the ride.

Editorialized media is designed to sway opinion. It's working. They convinced 50% of us.

I recognize the corruption of the democrat party. My concern is that the republicans are headed down the same path and I have seen nothing on any post here on free republic to cause me to think any other way. So many of the posters here have put the republican party , just like the democrats, before their country. I will not follow a false god.
