I think what really did it was the shaking afterwards. That seemed really violent and out of control. I had trouble seeing how much the mother was doing to the child before that. Oddly, many clips stopped before the shaking, so they gave a false impression. Shaking is a very, very bad idea and is certainly not discipline.

Oh, well you haven't see it all then. The shaking was only the midpoint. After the shaking, the child was strapped into her car seat and struck in the head three times. Then mom picked up her packages and placed them in the floorboard. She then turned back to the child, balled up her fist and struck her six more times, paused one second and then struck three more times. One dozen closed-fist punches to the head in total while the four year old was stuck in a carseat.

Try, I am a free citizen who is not sitting on her jury who saw that videotape and would love a crack at her. Did you see the tape? What more do you need in the way of proof that this woman has no business parenting a child?

Don't be an ass. You are comparing the beating of a grown man to that of a toddler. That is an unbelievable case of twisted logic. There are plenty of things a grown man could have possibly done to warrant getting knocked around. Name one, just ONE, that would warrant a little girl receiving that treatment. That is just sick.

Before PC became the norm....my farther took his belt to me after I tried to lift a toy gun from a dept store in the street right outside of the front door..guess what....I still love my farther and have till this day never tried to steal anything....
