Well I'd be a lot more receptive to that remark if he hadn't just signed up to rejoin UNESCO.

Just what we need, a maniac with a nuclear weapon. The anti-war folks will not be happy until Israel, LA, London, New York, Paris, or SF is taken out with a "primitive" radiological device....

What is the trigger point for Iraq? What will it take for him to go over the edge? I have wondered about him using a nuke on any one of several neighboring countries. Kuwait? Saudi Arabia? Iran? How about on a suicide ship in the English Channel? Maybe off of Galveston or Sydney? The scenarios are endless and the only cure is to get him before he tries something this rash.

Where do the chemical/biological weapons kick in? Will he use them to slow down our troops? He would not hesitate to use them on his own people while trying to inflict damage on our young warriors.

FYI. Israel, Turkey, and the US Government have already captured individuals who had possession of "Dirty Radiological Bombs" on their possession. To think that it has taken Saddam all this while to be able to do something that his copatriots have accquired years ago is unrealistic. Please do a FR search. If you are unable to find the articles look in the VANNROX archives in my profile page. Other sources of info include Lexis Nexus.

Thanks for the resources; I already recall the incidents.

Still not sure what the author of the article means though.

It gets worse... raw materials + plans = bombs...

As you can see, this film is about a German who was convicted of treason for selling nuclear weapon plans to Iraq, plans which Iraq could sell or pass on to other rogue states or entities. This goes far beyond the trading in military weapons, not beyond what Bernard Schwartz did, though.

Once again, I can't help but wonder what will become of the Demoncrats and other monocellular life forms if the Husseiniac manages to detonate one after they've been sitting there obstructing Bush and pontificating about peace.

I further wonder if they'll have the gall to then turn around and accuse Bush of not doing something soon enough.
