Rockefeller-sponsored socialism

There's a quiet movement building for international peace and economic justice centered on a document that would reorganize humanity around a sacred earth-worshipping mission.

This Saturday, for instance, the University of Vermont will host a program called "We the People: Summit for Peace." The keynote speaker and, shall we say, the purse strings behind this movement is Steven C. Rockefeller.

Rockefeller is chairman of the Rockefeller Brothers Fund and a trustee of the United Nations University for Peace in Costa Rica. From 1997 through 2000, he chaired the international Earth Charter drafting committee and is Earth Charter commissioner for North America.

The Earth Charter, in case you haven't guessed, is the globalists' version of the Constitution. This is the founding document of a new world order.

Most people just shrug this stuff off – laugh it off. And maybe that's what it deserves. But I'd like you to consider that this Earth Charter nonsense is taken very seriously at the United Nations.

As a matter of fact, later this year, the Earth Charter will be ceremoniously carted into the U.N. in a pantheistic, 21st-century replica of the Ark of the Covenant.

That means the folks behind this Earth Charter think of the document not just as the fundamental reorganizing principles of humanity for the future, they think of it as holy writ. This is not the Constitution to these people, this is the Ten Commandments.

You can laugh these people off as a silly group of tree-huggers, but they are obviously well-financed and well-organized. Just about everything in this Earth Charter is objectionable – even repugnant – for freedom-loving people. But let me just call your attention to the key provision: It's 10a, if you want to follow along and consult the actual text.

"Promote the equitable distribution of wealth within nations and among nations."

That's why the U.N. loves the Earth Charter. That's what all the flowery environmental language is all about. Globalism is a power grab. It's about people who already have too much power going for the rest – people like the Rockefeller family.

You might think if the Rockefellers really wanted to redistribute wealth within nations and among nations that they would start by divesting their obscene fortune made in, of all things, the oil business. But, no, when the Rockefeller family talks about "economic justice" and redistribution of wealth, they're talking about redistributing your wealth, not theirs.

Picture this meeting next Saturday: A Rockefeller will be making the keynote speech and Bernie Sanders, the only avowed socialist in the U.S. Congress will be setting the stage for him.

Do you know why the Rockefellers of the world love socialism? Because it reduces the competition. Nobody's going to take their wealth, and they are not going to give it up out of the goodness of their hearts, either. It's your wealth that will be seized under the Earth Charter, should the globalists win the day.

But it's not just your wealth they are after. It's your freedom. That's why I take this Earth Charter business seriously. These are dangerous and diabolical folks making long-range plans to seize even more power and destroy any vestige of freedom left in the world.

The Earth Charter is a chilling document. It stands on its head all the notions of freedom and independence upon which America was founded. The Rockefeller family, instead, seeks to create an "interdependent" world ruled by the elites. Whenever you see this word "interdependent," remember what it means: "dependent."

Do you want to be dependent? Or do you want to be a sovereign individual? Do you want to be dependent on people like the Rockefellers? Or do you want to be independent like the founders of this great country envisioned?

I raise all this today for a reason. President Bush went to the United Nations with his hat in his hand – asking for permission to avenge the deaths of 3,000 Americans last year at the hands of international terrorists. That was a mistake. Now he is being asked to wait – to wait for the ineffective U.N. arms inspectors to try once again to deal with Saddam Hussein. He's being asked to wait while Kofi Annan sings "Kumbayah."

Better to stick with the Ten Commandments, the Declaration of Independence and the U.S. Constitution than the Earth Charter and the U.N.

Earth Charter?

Do they come up with a new global government framework every month?

Post-communists gotta have something to do. Gaia worship is the next anti-freedom totalitarianism taking root before your eyes.

those who want to "transform" society, routinely turn out to be those who despise us the most.

The Rockefellers keep turning up.

And people think I'm crazy when I say be leary of the Rockefellers.

Conservatives used to speak in disdain of the liberal Rockefeller Republicans. Now they vote for them.

Can't they do better? I mean if we're going to have world oppression at least let it be with jack-boots and cool uniforms, not birkenstocks and soap scarcity.

The conference is entitled "We the people": As Steven Rockefeller introduces us to his own privatly composed Earth Charter to be kept in a 21st century ARK OF THE COVENANT and placed in the United Nations!

Can't you feel the populism?

This article says so little in so many ways. There's no specific evidence quoted on the beliefs/positions of Stephen Rockefeller. There's no substance here other than the links to the earth charter.

The Rockefeller offspring have proven to be socialistic. It would make the old man sick to his stomach -- to a degree. He really didn't like competition and worked to monopolize the markets in which he "competed." But that was no different than Vanderbilt or other magnates of that time.

If the earth charter is all that this writer purports, then it is something to be chucked wholeheartedly.

Oh and another thing, Rockefeller made it in refining oil, not producing it.

It's the road to a global oligarchy. F*&$% them and the horses they rode in on ! Rockefeller is a traitor to the Republic.
