President Bush met with President Alvaro Uribe of Colombia today, and discussed the war on terrorism, as well as Columbia's continued efforts in fighting the illegal drug trade. Bush also met with the Boys and Girls Clubs National Youth of the Year finalists in the White House. This evening, the President attended the National Republican Senatorial Committee dinner at the National Building Museum. Meanwhile, First Lady Laura Bush was in Mexico City attending the 11th Conference of Spouses of Heads of State and Government. Enjoy your daily dose of Dubya!

And the funny thing for the dems is that McAuliffe isn't even their official chairman, yet you proved the point that everyone THINKS he is! "Mr. Ed" (Rendell) is their DNC head. I made the same mistake myself.

Did you hear Rush yesterday when he said that Gore had named Ed Rendell, America's Mayor? If someone would have told me to answer the question of who I thought America's Mayor would be...Giuliani, I believe, would be ALL our first choices...see how out of touch Gore is??? Sheesh

I HOPE he runs against W (it's just that we'd have to see his mug and listen to that voice for an election cycle - yuck).

Aaaaaaaargh, the image of that is nightmare making. I'm sure all sun loving locals and the Dept of Tourism are grateful she has been short of beach time..... Hawaiian lore has it that the volcano Goddess is not to be messed with. LOL

Hey there, cp, We lost power about 7am today, just got it back about an hr or so ago. Got lots of limbs and branches down all over the yard, up and down the street. My cable is still out but so far things look pretty good. :) .
