Oh, the tizzy pressure must have really short circuited his mouth to brain connections because he sounded like a raving lunatic in need of quick medical attention.

Some medical experts have said that men do experience menapausal symptoms, perhaps Daschle is among the few? If it was, what a searing hot flash leaving the rest of us chilled as to the reality of just who is ruining, er, pardon me, running the Senate.

Moreover, Daschle seized upon a statement of President Bush's that was clearly concerning the Department of Homeland Security and Daschle's negligence in bringing the legislation to a senate floor vote.

Daschle's increasing lust for power and his opportunistic pouncing on President Bush's statement for the sole purpose of fulfilling his maniacal desire for ultimate power only succeeded in kicking him in the butt!

If any lesson can be taught on how not to succeed, win friends and influence people, Daschle's well rehearsed hissy temper tantrum is a very good one!

Another lesson, Daschle should learn, don't mess with Texans, pal.

Little Tommy Boy was at it again this morning. When asked about the Homeland Security Bill, he said that the Democrats have been working on it for four weeks now but our Republican freinds have been filibustering and delaying a vote on the bill.

The public employees unions now dominate the entire union movement, and are its only growing segment (there is little incentive for public officials to resist unionization). People from the public employees unions now lead the movement (John Sweeney, President AFL-CIO). These unions collect check-off dues from workers paychecks, and turn over 85% - 95% to democrats, directly or indirectly. When you see democrat officials stalling the homeland security, they are protecting their own funding base, period. It is not just a matter of doing a favor for a "Washington special interest," but of protecting the whole democrat party establishment.
