we lived in LaMarque I think LaMarque is a hidden treasure. Our family often went to Sylvan park in my childhood years. I have pondered moving there. I also like Anahuac - another little known waterfront area.

getting pictures ready for the county fair. I'm guessing you print and frame your work, for sale? That's a very nice idea.
I worked at a frame shop several years ago. Good framing is an art in itself.

Nah, I haven't sold anything yet. I'm entering pictures in the photography competition/exhibit at the fair for the very first time. I learned to cut mats in a photography class 4 years ago... it's slowly coming back. *L*

Yes, east of Baytown, see it now....we would have driven thru there on our way to N.O.
San Jacinto and Kemah were favorite spots.
Kemah was so quiet! We went up there to get figs every summer.
Now the year before I was born was the big Texas City disaster.
My father was a chem. engineer who that day had the glass windows in his office shattered, and some heavy ship material land in the grass outside....
