The Democrats want to get control so they can defund the military and prevent us from defending ourselves agasint Saddam, Ossama, and probably Arafat. They are every bit as much our enemy!

The personal flag of George Washington during the Revolutionary War

These sentiments led the Democratic Party to electoral debacle in 1968 and 1972. With 45 of 55 Democratic Senators voting against the Gulf War resolution in 1991, they've been able to win the presidency only with Southern governors who had no foreign policy record to connect them to the anti-war movement. I agree with the sentiment of this article. The democrats and liberals are always fighting over Vietnam; that is unless a democrat is on office. In my short life, they have said that the Gulf War and Afghanistan would be "another Vietnam", yet they were not. Of course, actions in the Balkans and Haiti got a total pass from these hypocrites.
