In this litigous society of ours you would expect folks not in the line of fire to start shooting at guys in a van 20+ yards away?

Twice during drive-by incidents here in Memphis I have done so. I have so far neither been so sued nor criminally charged for any offense for doing so. In both cases, the vehicles used by the perpetratiors were easy to identify by the neat 7,62mm holes in their sides; one was stolen and the other prooved to belong to be one of the shooters' own personal vehicles. I tried to get a hubcap for display over my mantlepiece, but no soap.
Maybe next time....
